  • This was a great movie XD

But damn that was probably the most cutest woman I have ever seen in a movie. One of the main reasons I kept watching it.

  • seriously though you have to give these actors some major props. Michael Caine and the woman playing the fiancee. I know it too MAJOR control to act serious while Steve Martin was carrying on as Ruprect LOLLL. I don't know HOW they did it.

(I know "Janet" in one scene w/Steve Martin had to keep her eyes close while he was playing officer Benson so she could stop laughing... Fun stuff man.

  • "Alright cuddly cuddly...ruprecht dont do that, stop it, ruprecht!

    He's very affectionate." ROFL

  • OH LORD THIS IS THE HAPPIEST DAY OF MY LIFE I THINK MY TESTICLES ARE DROPPING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • "i told you, if you keep on doing it, you won't have any pots left!" LMFAO

  • @ericjfl What else that is funny as all hell is if you notice the little curtain trim over Ruprect's stove it's all burnt as you know there was a fire.... hysterical as ever --- the little details in his room -- the toilet paper hanging from the toilet! nasty! lol

  • That was the prissy neighbor from Roseanne!!!

  • 5:05 the best hahahah

  • hahahahahahahaha

  • "Ruprecht, it is I your brother"

  • OOOOOKLAAAAAAAAAHOMA OKLAHOMA OKLAHOMA OKLAHOMA OKLAHOMA OKLAHOMA OKLAHOMA!!!!

  • Marlon Brando actually plays the part Michael plays etc..

  • Correction: Marlon Brando & David Niven Starred in Bedtime Story which was made in 1964.

  • Michael Caine & Steve Martin top stuff. But did you know? The original to this was made in the 1950s and Starred David Niven & Marlon Brando........Niven played same part as Caine, Brando the same part as Martin. Unfortunately i cannot remember the title of the film.

  • superb chemistry between Cain and Martin . Why they never made a sequel I can never understand

  • omg this is soo funny !!! i cant stop watching it !!!

  • "Sir, may I take your trident?" NOBODY writes dialog like this anymore... well, at least not any that most people will sit thru...

  • Not Mother?

  • mother? Not mother? Really!?! haha

  • Do you want the Genital Cuff?

  • 21 years ago I watched this movie and loved it so much that I swore the next Dog I get will be named Ruprecht. Now I have the best Dog ever, a german shorthaired pointer and his name is Ruprecht, he loves to run and run and run. Someday we'll go to Oklahoma for nestalgia's sake.

  • That's brilliant! Tell me something, when he is naughty, do you say 'Ruprecht!' in that exact way???

  • One of Steve Martin's best performances

  • freaking HILarious !!! i actually was watching this movie on tv and im glad these clips are on here !! '' do yu want the gential cuff' line is SO funny!!!!!!

  • Do you want the genital CUFF??? Ha ha ha.

  • Good stuff!!!!!!!!!

    Real comedy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I just can't stop watching it over and over!!

"He'll enjoy Oklahoma's wide open spaces. He loves to run and run and run."

    Classic!!

  • I catch myself watching the whole thing every time someone comments on it, so thanks!

"Here comes the creep man...there's that smile!"

  • @vidstuff007 I can never arrive at my sister's house and say Ruppert, it I your brother... when I reach the front door, and we're both girls.

  • This is "Special". 10/10!

  • Hmm I will employ this tactic to avoid nasty breakups from now on.

  • ruprecht the monkey boy. lol

  • DO YOU WANT THE GENITAL CUFF!

  • I wonder what the genital cuff is.

  • Hill. Larious.

  • ROTFLMAO@4:22-4:32

  • RUPRECHT ftw.

  • This is the funniest sequence! I don't know the womans name, but she's super cute with that Southern accent...@ :45 "Here comes the creep man...there's that smile!". Then with Ruprecht, the "Uncle Ted" reference could be to the former Alaska Senator, Republican Ted Stevens. He's often referred to as "Uncle Ted". Finally, I like how the woman at the table is quoted by Caine: "You don't think the poor should be allowed in museums...."--it makes her appear quite stuffy, heightens the humour.

  • Lol.. I love this movie. I even have it on DVD, but it's great to see some of the highlights here.

"May I take your trident, sir?" rofl.. that just kills me. Ian McDiarmid is so cool.

  • Yes, of course! Then again, 4:15 & 5:05 have their special charms too...

The movie is a horn of plenty... The wheel chair scenes where the "Dr" is examining Rupret's legs...

  • 6:12 is my favorite moment...

  • a very very clever and beautifully filmed movie - perfect cast perfect music perfect locations...

  • I love this film its the best :P "Not Mother?" lol

  • *Smile* Notice the patch over Rupret's eye? H seems to have a bad habit...

  • why is the cork on the fork ?
