It's a rarity to find TRADITIONAL JAPANESE SHAKUHACHI unspoiled music like this. No music with synthesizers. I wish there was more like this. Can anybody give me suggestions?
"4.5 billion years from now, when the earth has been engulfed by the sun, this music will still be out there to stand as a triumph of the human race, unless it is intercepted."
The comment refers to the bach piece on the record however.
Haha, that's how i came across this too! Did you have a look at the comeplete list? This is pretty spectacular, as are Dark Was The Night - Blind Willie Johnson and Beethoven's 5th and there is certainly something haunting about the Navajo's Night Chant!
The chances of it being spotted by anyone/anything (even assuming that life is fairly abundant in the universe) is less than one in a trillion or something. The spacecrafts are both really quite small while the vast interstellar space is not. But I admit it is quite cool to imagine Johnny B. Goode flying at about 10 miles/s at a distance of more than 10 billion miles away

Gee, you learn something new everyday. Not sarcasm, not at all. :p
detecting either of the voyagers visually is not likely to happen, but they do transmit radiowaves and if there are aliens flying around out there, I get the feeling they would have instruments for detecting stuff like that if not by other unknown means.
The chance of Life being on earth and the act of earth being a "perfect" place for life to have evolved is 1 in 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000 or somthing.I swear im not exaggerating. But we can do thing to affect chance to work in our favor.
Yes, it's quite awe-inspiring. I recently saw an interesting BBC documentary about geology, and to think that just such a thing as the earth phenomena plate tectonics actually act as a co2 recycling element preventing the surface of the earth becoming led melting hot like venus and thus unable to support life. There are these crucial to life-elements everywhere you look although one so often overlooks them.
"Tsuru No Sugomori" ("Crane's Nest,") performed by Goro Yamaguchi. One of the 27 tunes included on the Voyager Interstellar Spacecraft record.

This song was included onboard the voyager 1 spacecraft if I'm not mistaking. In case any aliens discover it on its trip to Ophiuchus. :p

Dear piip4,
I wrote it out in that way on purpose, but thank you for your attempt to mock my style of expression.
As for the other, who knows? It just seems highly unlikely.

Maybe you're analyzing my comment a bit too much, it was meant to be more playful than disrespectful.
