there are goods and bads with being an army wife..being that my husband was army and i was army as well it's much harder..being that we are divorced now i dont think i would marry another military guy as well..all my experiences were bad and the guys i worked with use to always cheat on their wives and they didnt know because they use to always say they had duty in the field or whatever..but other people had good relationships i just couldnt do it again good luck honey..
@ShaCourtney Yeah Im aware of the hot mess that goes on. lol. It depends on the person you married though. Being in the army doesnt just cause people to throw away their morals all of a sudden. If they didnt have any to begin with then the marriage was already screwed with or without joing the military.

This life is much more difficult than what meets the eye,although it is a life we have chosen. The same can be said for many professions. Most issues ppl have with military wives are based on misconception or limited experience bc they are either on the outside looking in,or they sum up everyone based on a few.

I couldn't agree with you more. I've been an army wife for 5 years, we're hs sweethearts. Neither one of us knew what we were getting into when we did this and it is hard, but I'm so glad you told it like it was for the girls who want to know. I wish I had someone back then to tell me. I love my husband through deployments and whatever else we go through. is the rules the same for officers in the army and marines, like limitation on where you can and cannot go and the limit miles of how much you can travel.
Army and Marine are 2 different branches but either way once u join the military you are gov property. The rules can vary from one rank or branch to another,but yes there are rules that every soldier must follow.

i guess your right, it was REALLY lonely for me at first because i was so far from home and stuff. I just really didnt connect with any of the other army wives, but after we had my son and i got adjusted, it was ALOT better. My ex and I did not work for that reason. HE tried his best to make it work and to make me feel secure but in the end I could not deal with the distance and him leaving all the time. He is a Marine. One of the sexiest, muscular, fine ass hell brothers I laid my eyes on.He had to leave often and stay for periods of time. We did not trust each other enough and I began to get bored
My parents were military and I saw how they made it work. My dad was gone alot also and my mom use to be scared.
On some levels the show is Army Wives is relatable,but there are times when I watch it and I'm like "Wow that was super fake and would never happen." It's entertaining though.
You know trhat I know that you know that life is tough but you got a great fam and the tougher life gets the stronger you get ...... you have a good spirit and you're strong.

Good luck girly. Im marrying into the military in July. I happen to live in DC, so every one is military. Most of my past relationships have been military, so I have more than my fair share of knowledge. Long story short, I just want to tell you to stay encourage. Like you said, we have a code of our own, and no one will ever understand unless they drink from the same cup.
My fiance is stationed in Korea at Camp Casey in Area 1. I have plans of going over there in June so we can get married. They just started offering command sponsorship in area 1 and i want to be with him but im kind of scare like about will i make friends and everything. I have heard alot of army wives are shady. And im such a nieve person. But i really like this video. It was like you wer actualy talking to me and you kept t real on every subject.

NO we dont all stay home. I made the decision to stay home because I am so freakin sick right now it's crazy. There have been days I've thrown up everytime I tried to eat something. I will be going back to work after the baby.

that is soooo true..about sum military wifes are hittn the bars right when their husbands r on the plane (deployment)..its soooo sad..and thats not how every military wife is..i was a full time military wife for 3 yrs..then my husband became half time for the nxt 9 yrs..he's been in for about 12 yrs now...it is crazy.

I couldn't agree with you more. I've been an army wife for 5 years, we're hs sweethearts. Neither one of us knew what we were getting into when we did this and it is hard, but I'm so glad you told it like it was for the girls who want to know. I wish I had someone back then to tell me. I love my husband through deployments and whatever else we go through. Trust is the biggest thing and unfortunatly so many don't have or deserve it.great video, hope it helps a lot of women comming in to this life

is the rules the same for officers in the army and marines, like limitation on where you can and cannot go and the limit miles of how much you can travel.

Army and Marine are 2 different branches but either way once u join the military you are gov property. The rules can vary from one rank or branch to another,but yes there are rules that every soldier must follow.

i guess your right, it was REALLY lonely for me at first because i was so far from home and stuff. I just really didnt connect with any of the other army wives, but after we had my son and i got adjusted, it was ALOT better. I usually like being alone sometimes, i think i was just kinda depressed at first. idk, lol. But it is alot better now..i guess it just depends on the person. hope your feeling better! ~Jess

@pizzasuxanus it can be a lonely wife but munsjvc is right you need to learn how to be alone. but if you put you self out there and get with other wifes then you will have a the best time of your life! but you need to put your self out there. there is so much for us to do you just have to look for it!

My ex and I did not work for that reason. HE tried his best to make it work and to make me feel secure but in the end I could not deal with the distance and him leaving all the time. He is a Marine. One of the sexiest, muscular, fine ass hell brothers I laid my eyes on.He had to leave often and stay for periods of time. We did not trust each other enough and I began to get bored
My parents were military and I saw how they made it work. My dad was gone alot also and my mom use to be scared.

On some levels the show is Army Wives is relatable,but there are times when I watch it and I'm like "Wow that was super fake and would never happen." It's entertaining though.

i can relate..i myself is an army wife too...and im use to my husband being deployed all the time..i have 2 children 13 and 15..giiirl as long as i have my children by my side im ok...its good to associate with your neighbors but im not with that being all up in my house in and out...i dont get too close to my neighbors..im in hawaii in housing...i like being a military wife..because you get to have the whole house to yourself ..lol..and u aint got to work!..lmao

Good luck girly. Im marrying into the military in July. I happen to live in DC, so every one is military. Most of my past relationships have been military, so I have more than my fair share of knowledge. Long story short, I just want to tell you to stay encourage. Like you said, we have a code of our own, and no one will ever understand unless they drink from the same cup.

My fiance is stationed in Korea at Camp Casey in Area 1. I have plans of going over there in June so we can get married. They just started offering command sponsorship in area 1 and i want to be with him but im kind of scare like about will i make friends and everything. I have heard alot of army wives are shady. And im such a nieve person. But i really like this video. It was like you wer actualy talking to me and you kept t real on every subject.

NO we dont all stay home. I made the decision to stay home because I am so freakin sick right now it's crazy. There have been days I've thrown up everytime I tried to eat something. I will be going back to work after the baby.
