I don't get why so many of Serbian and Albanian people hate on each other. I love everybody, I have no problems with other nations. And after all - ESC is a music competition, not political.

I wanted this song to win back then. I was so sad it didn't. I'm right now learning lyrics and trying to memorize translation at the same time. It's a beautiful song. And she is singing it so well!

Also, she received many messages from the Belgrade people menacing to rip her alive only because she was Albanian and she was much better than the serbian performer. But it's ok. Really?! I heard people saying they were at the venue and loved her performance. I can see that some would use any opportunity to show what they think regarding the Kosovo issue, however, they are a minority. A 16 year old girl doesn't deserve that. I can't get rid of the feeling she had to say that. As for Serbian entry, I loved it too and I don't think we have any reason to envy each other. Albanian song was just better and I would put ours on a 2nd place. Just my taste.

Maybe the people at the venue might have loved her performance, but what they showed to her was a continuous boo during all the time. That is what Olta and other members of her band said. And I don't believe that a "minority" can be noisy enough to throttle the "majority" of the civilized ones. What I don't believe too, is that Olta had to lie about what she witnessed in Belgrade. As you said, a 16 year old girl doesn't deserve to be called a liar

As for the postcard. What was insulting in that ? Watch other postcards and you'll see they're all artistic with nice messages and making flags... you only want to find some ways to say we were acted but, yet everybody in Europe knows Serbs were very good hosts that year ( and political moment was very bad here )
