Einfach geile song....sie singt über liebe und schmerz....
Bin selber Albaner und ich finde egal was passiert die musik sollte die menschen zusamen bringen und nicht nur hass egal welche nazionalitet...ob serbe oder andere nationen....friden friden
I simply adore strong and powerfull female vocal, combined with hard rock is even better-that's kind of music i like the most.Albania and Turkey were best that year!!!!
EVEN THOUGH THE PERSON WHO SAID "THE FIRST BELLY BUTTON" PROBABLY WON'T SEE THIS, I'D SAY TO HIM.........AFTER YOU HEARD HER YOU PROBABLY TOOK BACK THE WORDS YOU SAID...............
i also like this song very much - but not this version. the old version was much more powerful. instruments and vocals were amazing! had she sung the first version, i am sure she would have ended in top 5.
best song in 2008! fuck the hate ppl!!!!! we r all ppl that leave on the same planet!who cares about hate or history thats all in the past! ellie greece
I don't get why so many of Serbian and Albanian people hate on each other. I love everybody, I have no problems with other nations. And after all - ESC is a music competition, not political.
I wanted this song to win back then. I was so sad it didn't. I'm right now learning lyrics and trying to memorize translation at the same time. It's a beautiful song. And she is singing it so well!
@urosh1994 i dont know if you heard of a "little" war that happened between serbians and albanians. Im albanian and i have a strong reason not to like serbians so you better read up on it before you speak.
@ttumbledore I get it lol... both nations hate each other, but there are people who DON'T care about it. I'm Serbian, I hate wars and hate between each other. What happened in past - it happened. Everybody needs to move on and become better persons. World is not going to be any better for anyone if people still keep on doing what they are doing now. War is NEVER a solution, for anything. It's inhuman, selfish act with terrible consequences. And this is MUSIC - why should anyone care?
@urosh1994 there are so many things that i could say here but i dont want to start a big youtube fight. obviously you 're blind to all the things that the serbian nation has done to others
@1dautnarc1 I had to Google translate that so I might write something that's out of point.
I truly don't care about any national fights or any hate that's being spread around. I DO believe people can live happily, or neutrally, one with each other. It shouldn't be anyone's business if I hate somebody - if I do, it's my thing, I don't spread the hate.
And, as I already said, I'm here to listen to music. One more reason I don't care about nationality - it has nothing to do with music!
Why ''hvala''Olta, why? They don't deserve respect.
Skepticism and indifferentism, that's all they deserve, but no respect. They killed and raped, and they will do again if they have the chance, but right now they r licking their fucking wounds. There is BARBARIAN blod running through their veins, and it takes thousands of years 4 a particular mutation genetic 2 happen.
But You are a little honest girl Olta, and it's not ur foult. We love You Olta, anyway.
Also, the introduction of the song with the serbian dancers moving like vermin, insulting the Albanian eagle and with the soundtrack taken from some turkish wedding, was really offensive for all us.
Yes, it is a really great song.Nobody didn't welcome her bad, becuase of tragical events for Serbs on Kosovo and Metohia, happend before Eurovision that year. I would have liked this song to be winning in the end.
Just love hearing our language in the middle of Belgrade. They can boo as much as they want, the song is amazing, the singer amazing and the language AMAZING
@Krasniqi25 How can u be so stupid and filled with hatred. No one booed her, she was one of the best performers that evening and she is such a sweet person. I was there so do not write stupidities please...Most of the Serbs I know loved this song..
@muradsafarli Of course there are bad guys everywhere. But in Serbia they are ready to butcher half a million people in 5 years and still be proud of themselves. Go Albania. Fuck Serbia - the Nazi of our times.
@sacrumillyricum I dont know man. The same thing happens between Armenia and Azerbaijan . they say that we are bastard we say that they killed 600 people in night.i think bastard are those politicians who did this. Armenians killed thousand of people in Karabakh but i can not say that i hate all of armenians. WHY? a boy who is 15 years old did nothing wrong to me. why i must hate him? Do you understand me? you can hate people not nation , thats my point.PEACE
Go Olta! Also this is the reason why Albanian artists should always sing the songs in our beautiful, rhythmic and sweet language. Listen it people. This is the Albanian cultivated language, one of the most ancient languages of Europe. Para Shqiperia.
better than Molitva-How terrible result got some countries, one of this countries is Albania, always good songs but never gain first place, how terrible!
i think albania is doing a great job ! they always send young singers in eurovision, 2004 was 17 y old, 2008 this one ose 16 y old, 2009 was 17 y old ! its pretty impressive , and they all have wonderful voices , compliment !!!
I cannot get rid of this song. It is so powerful, so beautifully sang... And Olta was beautiful (and cute when she said "Hvala" at the end of the performance :) ). When she came back home she gave an interview where she said how serbs boo-ed her at he stage. Also, she received many messages from the Belgrade people menacing to rip her alive only because she was Albanian and she was much better than the serbian performer. But it's ok. That's how we understand how Serbs envy us.
Really?! I heard people saying they were at the venue and loved her performance. I can see that some would use any opportunity to show what they think regarding the Kosovo issue, however, they are a minority. A 16 year old girl doesn't deserve that. I can't get rid of the feeling she had to say that. As for Serbian entry, I loved it too and I don't think we have any reason to envy each other. I'm a big fan of Eurovision, and I personally think this was the best Albania's entry..
