Frankly speaking, hindi pa masyadong controlled ang pitch ni Charice (relatively speaking) compared ngayon. Very evident naman dito sa video na to, ginawa nyang puro birit yung last part ng kanta. She didn't win just because of her looks. I think she's beautiful with a beautiful voice to match! Charice didn't win definitely because she can be a star or can become popular without winning the contest. They tried to preserve her not to be over exposed and instead gave some attention to Charice's competitors. Now she is more than the Champion of any singing competitions in the Philippines. ;-) It's her fate that brought her to where she is now.....

i have to admit, but this is water under the bridge now; when she first appeared on tv (this video) she really look like girl coming from a very poor family. her dress looked like it was borrowed at temporarily made to fit her tiny body. i think the judges didn't even consider her singing. they judged her because of her dress and hair. her singing was good in fact. but look at Charice now; she is one of the richest and most popular Filipino in the word (and million of dollars to boot).

gosh, philippines has all these great talents yet they just let it pass by them. They judge Charice with her appearance here, but not with her talent. We all knew her talent and the dress so as the way she looks. For heaven's sake, she was only 12 yrs old here and looks will always improve like how lovely she is now.
But as usual ... in the Philippines, you will always be judge by outward appearance ... how white your skin is, how tall you are. They never look how talented you are, as long as you have a fake nose, fake breast, and fake face, and white skin!

So, these are the stupid judges that turned her down. They look familiar, they're the ones who has nothing but praises for her today. Well thank you for not letting her win because had she won she wouldn't be here today. That performance was incredible and she only got 91. How stupid. Let that be a lesson for you judges, don't look down on poor people and ignore amazing talents, shame on all of you.
Magaling si Charice sa kantang Shine.. pero nag iba ang note sa may mga part ..i think the highest.. bandang huli.. kaya siguro hindi nagustuhan ng mga juror. Pero makikita mo na na magaling siya. i have to admit, but this is water under the bridge now; when she first appeared on tv (this video) she really look like girl coming from a very poor family. her dress looked like it was borrowed at temporarily made to fit her tiny body. i think the judges didn't even consider her singing. they judged her because of her dress and hair. her singing was good in fact. but look at Charice now; she is one of the richest and most popular Filipino in the word (and million of dollars to boot).

They judge Charice with her appearance here, but not with her talent. We all knew her talent and the dress so as the way she looks. For heaven's sake, she was only 12 yrs old here and looks will always improve like how lovely she is now.
But as usual ... in the Philippines, you will always be judge by outward appearance ... how white your skin is, how tall you are. They never look how talented you are, as long as you have a fake nose, fake breast, and fake face, and white skin!

Compared to other Asian countries, the Phil. should have been more progressive, richer and more powerful bec. it achieved its independence sooner than the others or put another way, it got away from the occupiers sooner than others but it still lag behind the other countries-you know why? It's bec. of the Fil. attitude-it sucks!

Her voice here is still obviously underdeveloped. But she's incomparable to the other contestants. She's definitely way out of their league.Filipinos doesn't know what real talent is. But I'm not generalize all of them coz I am a Filipino myself. So, these are the stupid judges that turned her down. They look familiar, they're the ones who has nothing but praises for her today. Well thank you for not letting her win because had she won she wouldn't be here today. That performance was incredible and she only got 91. How stupid. Let that be a lesson for you judges, don't look down on poor people and ignore amazing talents, shame on all of you.

Magaling si Charice sa kantang Shine.. pero nag iba ang note sa may mga part ..i think the highest.. bandang huli.. kaya siguro hindi nagustuhan ng mga juror. Pero makikita mo na na magaling siya. Not her time yet to shine. Pinabalik yata siya. Ofcourse magaling ko na siya...seeing her performance even through the whole episode ng nandoon siya. But because of the votes and they want another style of singing they choose Sam to win. But Charice was superb. Bravo.
