@tsdz2008 Their language and culture is no different from that of SzeChuan, Guang Dong, Macau, in that they retain everything. If one chooses to see a mix of culture as a war, of course they will only see negative outcomes in the interchange. If you want to talk about keeping traditions, that's just being silly. Serfdom in Tibet was tradition, until Dalai Lama was ousted. If you want to talk about the rights of the people, it's better now than before.

@Jeffoid Have you ever visit Tibet or run any poll among Tibetans who are living there to see how they think? If not, just shut up. Those Tibetans you met in westerns are minors of the whole Tibetans and you should not ONLY listen to them. I am sure I can find some native Americans who still hates white people. So do they have the right to kick all other Americans out because this land was originally theirs? Think about it and try to visit Tibet youself before jumping to any conclusions.

@Jeffoid Bring it on then. US tried twice in north Korea and Vietnam. You should know what happend. Russia tried once in 1960s and was kicked out two. China has no interest of invading other countries like US has been doing. But whoever wants to test China by trying to occupy any Chinese land would be destroyed. Independence is a foreign concept to the landlocked country that was once TIBET. They were happy to be left alone. But the Chinese invasion let to the CIA wanting to have a say in the matter. Now the issue has become a global football game. Yes, no country recognizes Tibetan independence, but that is only diplomatic speak. They would rather sit on the sidelines happy to be spectators. So while China and her opponents kick around the football, Tibet, what happens to the football??

I used to have a lot of respect for the Dalai Lama and his teachings. Since the recent orchestrated Riots in Lhasa, capital of Tibet, China and the disruption of a worldly event, The Olympic Games, the Tibetans certainly has lost a great deal of respect from Billions of people amongst the 200 plus participating countries. If the whole world were to only adopt Tibetan meditation practices without any form of exercise, how can one develop a Healthy Mind and Body. Heroes competes - Losers disrupt.

There have been recent Tibetan protests outside of China that were treated brutally by foreign governments including USA. Now the world can understand why these misfits are not wanted in China in the first place. Do so-called democratic countries really humane and democratic? Tibetans living in Western countries have certainly been racialprejudiced. So Good Tibetans everywhere, Your Motherland, China LOVES YOU and Welcome Home.

To be acurrate, 95% of Tibetan were serfs and slaves. it was the CCP who abloished the serfdom and gave the land and freedom back to the cilivian Tibetan. So owing to the CCP, Tibet was set free.
