Henny's are pretty good as Cider Goes. I'm a bit spoilt really, I grew up on such good stuff that Wrong Bow is unrecongisable as the same drink, and most bottled ciders don't measure up.
The Hereford Cider will be somewhere between the sweetness of a Norfolk Cider and the Tartness of a Westcoutry Cider.
Cidre can go and boil their head, pretentious twat of a drink. It's rated highly compared to wrongbow.
@TheBoyFromNorfolk Stella Cidre isn't nasty but it sure is a long way from cider like this. Like comparing my latest drive to Jenson Button's. As for Prongbow. It might be good for cleaning dentures in or something. I always say look for the word (from) on the labels. 'Made (with) enchanted apples picked in the forest of Narnia by naked virgins', means nothing. It can be two apples picked this way. A word like (Using) is the same. But (from). Made FROM hand picked cider apple is exactly that.
@TheBoyFromNorfolk The Norfolk Cider Company make a sweet cider that is SO SWEET it could easily replace a dessert wine. I reviewed it but didn't release the vid because it would have been unfair on a cider that would be an absolutely ace drink with say Rhubarb Crumble but was yucky on its own. Going back to visit a few Norfolk breweries in October so will look out for cider too.
@TheBoyFromNorfolk Not sure yet as I want to catch them brewing and getting the timing right is a nightmare. Got my eyes on Humpty, Norfolk Square (possibly popping round the corner to Blackfriars), Uncles and Woodforde's are possible too.
Corr you really did quaff that one! I actually had this one really recently, and enjoyed it a lot even though I'm not that into cider.. though those subtle labels with the home made look always appeal to me
8 bucks a bottle around here, fuckin expensive. hope it's worth it

Well, then you'll want norfolk cider 7-12% ish ABV. Finest Cider in the world (IMHO).
Theappleshop . co . uk has norfolk cider you can order, which I highly recommend. I'll be putting an order in when I go back to uni.

Yeah, the sweet is full on sweet. The Dry is Full on Dry, and the Medium is a pleasent drink for the hot sun.
WHich breweries are you going to? Woodfordes Obviously, Wolf? Uncle Stuarts Brewery (right next to the norfolk cider company)?
