Hey... you guys are awesome, I love your show. I was wondering if you could do a show with ripping your own jeans. To buy them pre-ripped costs too much, and I can't seem to figure out how to make it look right.

try sandpaper to distress it. you can do this just to get that fuzzy whitened look, or keep going until you sand right through the denim. I like to use one of those sanding sponges--they're easy to hold & you can do detail work with the corners. Plus, the grit lasts longer than sandpaper.
