@jmoore125 O.o ...... Nobody is disputing quantum theory is a theory, read the description listen to the dialogue, quantum "THEORY" jeez nothing gets past you does it. Also in order for light to have dimensions it also needs mass to be measured, quantum theory includes the notion that light is three dimensional. The fact that the two of us have different views on the same issue is proof positive that reality is "relational to each observer".
@premolatino I though the point of your clip is "One Step Further" than quantum theory. The prognosticator (in the character of a wise and experienced teacher) tells the kid "For starters, you know how light is both particle and wave? You learned about that in physics, right?" and concluded that "Taking that [Anthropic principle] further, I believe that the physical world is nothing more than an illusion." This is not presented by the character as theory but as belief.
. . . therefore, please send me all of your illusions for which you consider to be currency. Since reality doesn't exist, you won't miss it.
Light is not particles and waves -- this is a theory (and one that is wrong), not fact.
The theory that light is three dimensional makes more sense than quantum theory.
The theory that all outcomes are correct, are only relational to each observer, or that reality doesn't exist, is religion not science.
