WOW!!!!u suns fans are all the same...u have great players but a horrible team. Even with Amare and Boris, u still couldn't win. There was no altercation, and Duncan did not leave the vicinity of the bench. There's no reason to suspend him.

Nobody seems to say anything about how this sets a dangerous precedent for basketball. The rule is suposed to prevent fighting but it looks like it's condoning it now. I mean during a series why not just send your scrubs in and have them nail somebody in the face as a planned tactic to get the other team's bench to clear? No he has a very valid point.. that would have been Bobish of Jones.. it would have caused Duncan to be in the same position Bob caused for Diaw and STAT. Either way i think the rule needs to be changed, instinct is to jump up and defend your boy. They both showed restraint and didnt get involved. The rule should be more about getting involved.

There was no altercation between Jones and Elson. Elson went down, and everyone checked to see if he was alright. There were no elbows, shoves, no foul calls, techs, or anything remotely resembling an altercation.

A player isn't supsended for walking on the bench after a play.

Are you telling me that if James Jones had punched Elson in the face after the play then Duncan and Bowen would be suspended? Horry wasn't in an altercation... he was the altercation. He pushed nash on the ground and hit bell in the face. Those are his actions. You say you have to "follow the rules" but the rules aren't clear in what an altercation is.

How was Horry's an altercation? Horry throwing a hissy-fit doesn't mean the suns players should be suspended. Duncan and Bowen both got off the bench after Elson went down hard. Amare and Diaw did absolutely nothing.

If Horry's play is considered an altercation, then so is this. Both were plays in which players came down hard. Amare's, on the other hand was after a foul, so he has the excuse of getting up to check in.

If amare and diaw are suspended, Duncan should be as well. Horry should be kicked out of the series.
