Charming Russian weightlifting humor from a bygone era. Just watching the stooge with pencil legs walk up to the bar was funny enough. It was played for very broad slapstick. They did do a good job making the wooden weights look realistic. The bar and collars looks real enough so my guess is he's handling about 75 pounds.
