Lol, I actually remember seeing The Strokes open for The Realistics and yes, they (the strokes) were quite dull in comparison. Shame, this video really doesn't do justice to the live show. Never saw another band slay as hard as these guys. This isn't scratching the surface. Someone post more please.
I'm sad they broke up. I was lucky enough though, to see them w/Mooney suzuki (who also rock) and the Strokes(who were dull & uneventful in comparison to the openers). They were so super fun to see and hear live.
