great vid. i highly doubt anyone else is using a classical guitar to play this riff but just in case, here's a tip: for the 797 part of the song, hammer on the 9th fret then pick the 7th and for the 676 part, slide from the 6th fret to the 7th fret then thumb the 6th fret again. makes it sound better then picking the entire thing.

Thanks for the video man you are a good teacher. To further elaborate on your last point about why it might not sound just like the CD when you are playing along to it, I have the definite answer. Cube originally went into the studio with the direct sample of Footsteps in the Dark but DJ Pooh enhanced the bass and vocals on it. That is probably the reason why it sounds a little detuned.

Yeh it's definitely at a faster tempo on 'it was a good day' and hence the pitch has shifted accordingly. Nice tutorial mate, well done.
