nicolas ghesuquire is a genius. This collection was so strong and feminine, extremely sexy. If you are able to see the pieces in person, they are beautiful. Some have burnout velvet on top of satin. Sari's were the inspiration. The drapings are prominent and in high regard in this collection. The thing about Balenciaga, Nicolas incorporates Cristobal Balenciaga original shape in design in the new architecture of fabrics, so you are able to study it. Absolutely Stunning.
Oh, but you could afford a computer and the monthly internet access? You just heard it for free. And sure you could hear it over and over again. It's 99 cents at Itunes.
99 FUCKING CENTS
How much was your computer you use to rip off people who bring music like this to light?
Whoa lol, wasnt expecting another disgruntled Andre Leon Talley type to attack me on YOUTUBE lol oh well, anyone still know where i can get it for free? ;)
Reassuringly elegant, this is a perfect collection. I like the lightness of the clothing, and the elegance of the stockings; this collection looks like Nicholas' earlier collections for Balenciaga. It reasserts his talent - while I like the more extreme shows, it's nice to see that all stripped away. Like St. Laurent, and of course Balenciaga, he is able to empower and dignify women (a notion asserted in his earlier works, again). However, the shoes weigh down the elegant designs. Perfect show.
hey I just want to ask for ur opinions on balenciaga's style. What do u think about the brand in general ??? What does it represent n express ? What kind of personalities do the apparel bring to the wearer? I don't know much about balenciaga so I really want to know how people see it. Thanks a lot <3
well in cristobal balenciaga's days he was considered "the Master" by many including christian dior and even coco chanel. he was the first to do several new silhouettes...people thought he was god.
these days with nicolas ghesquierre it is still doing very new things before everyone else, and he is copied by many, specially when he brought back the baloon silhouette from the balenciaga archives. mostly people just know its very couture, cool, and one of the most expensive brands.
emmm I know models are thin - but i think these ones are actually hyper thin...not sure If im happy with this!!...

I just don't understand why like 5 people come out wearing pretty much the same thing...one right after the other.
Beautiful pieces though.

i agree, the shoes definitely could have been designed with a lighter touch. they resembled clogs.

I agree completely. I LIKE the shoes, just (oddly) not with these clothes.
