I found the CURE for addiction and I have proof for this claim. Click on my name and witness Powerful Stories of Freedom. I personally know and have witnessed over 100 addicts who have found True and Lasting FREEDOM after being enslaved by their addictions for so long. I have been through many programs for my addiction, but have never found so much Hope, Joy, Peace, and Love than I have in the program I am in now. And the people I know who have given their stories are experiencing the same!
my conclusion from 16 years of indulging and meeting other consummers is this.
although i have never met anybody that had a bad reaction to cannabis, cannabis may trigger/innitiate episodes in certain teens already predisposed with phsychotic or schizophrenic or other mental issues. but like i`ve said i`ve never seen it 1st hand in 16years of smoking nor has any of my friends.
i`m not addicted to cannabis i like to smoke it just the same as i like eating cake. am i addicted to cake?
i don`t go in any kind of withdrawal if i don`t have a smoke for a while (hrs days or even weeks) i am physicly fit and apart from getting older there`s nothing wrong with me in 15 years of indulging heavily in strong NL skunks and uk cheeses, homegrown or from the coffeeshops.
well i`ve been smoking for over 15 yrs since i was at least 15 i`m 32 this summer and i don`t suffer from any mental problems nor have i a dysfunctional live.
i smoke pretty much all the time as much as a cigarette smoker would consume. and appart from my lungs taking a beating as they would with tobacco or anything else u would burn and inhale the smoke from.
Ha, it said "want to get rid of marijuana?," then the video segues to drug rehab. In other words, submitting yourself to a drug treatment center for cannabis addiction will fuel the prohibition of cannabis because the goverment uses those stastistics to mislead the masses about cannabis.
Cannabis can be addictive, but cannabis addiction is a minimal addiction. Caffeine addiction is usually more severe. Seeking medical assistance to stop using cannabis (in most cases) is completely unnecessary.
@CNSagent I say harder to abuse because unlike alcohol and tabacco, your body doesnt send you messages that you should stop, because the THC attaches itself you receptors in your brain and releases dopamine which in turn makes you feel pleasurable. Whereas with alcohol, when you have had too much your body either rejects the alcohol physically(excessive urination or vomiting) or drains your body of fluid to help digest the alcohol, leaving you with a splitting headache (or hangover) the next day

@CNSagent your information is incredibly vague, what are your sources? Marijuana does contain 20 times more ammonia and 3-5 times more hydrogen cyanide and nitrix oxide than tabacco. It also contains 50% more carcinogenic polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons including naphthalene, benzanthracene, and benzopyrene, than tobacco smoke. These chemicals do damage DNA. Additionally, i study on lungs of marijuana smokers only found cellular changes called metaplasia that are considered precancerous
@Jdillafied My information is far from vague. I provided direct quotes and the links for the sources.
I believe it's nearlly impossible that you did not notice the sources immediately following the end of each quote.
It appears as if you're simply "grasping for straws." I contradicted your information about cannabis containg more carcinogens: "Components of cannabis smoke minimize some carcinogenic pathways whereas tobacco smoke enhances some."- Robert Melamede
@CNSagent Robert Melamede also says that cannibis cures or destroys cancer, when infact tests a test carried out by the university of california showed that marijuana, primarily the incredient THC when injected into mice several times a week promoted lung cancer. marijuana can affect almost every organ in the body, from the central nervous system to the cardiovascular, endocrine, respiratory/pulmonary, and immune systems.
@CNSagent this makes marijuana use problematic when intented for medicinal practice, as instead of helping or strengthening the immune system marijuana actually acts as a immunosuppressent, says a study done at the university of indiana.
@CNSagent also, i appologise if you feel i insulted you by calling your information vague, i have grown quite tired of finding alot of misinformation on marijuana and whenever i find someone promoting it i know from experience and knowledge that that information is flawed. Im sorry but marijuana is illegal for a reason, its more cancer causing than cigarettes and it does promote flashbacks, delusions, depersonalization, hallucinations, paranoia, depression, and uncontrollable aggressiveness
@Jdillafied ... I might listen, but considering you are completely biased (seriously, your original comment was comparing cannabis smokers to compulsive murderers, that is just asinine) and your information is invalid, I choose not to.
I'm not disregarding you information, though. Maybe if you can provide direct qoutes and direct sources (i.e. dated article from a legitimate source) we can contiue this, but if not don't bother replying.
@CNSagent and also my original comment was not comparing cannibis smokers to compulsive murders, What i actually said was cannabis is illegal for a reason and so is murder, rape, treason and other drug including meth amphetamine and heroin. should murder, rape and meth amphetamine be legal too? if not why not? are you not being biased? why should only your drug of choice be legal? not the adrenaline rush or killing or raping? or the extreme pleasure of heroin or meth?
@CNSagent you question the law, but from a biased point of view. Marijuana is illegal for a reason. Every single person i knew that smoked ruined their lives and those of their family, because they thought they where being more spiritual and not being a part of the system, the same system that created them, that provides you with healthcare and decent food. That is the same same system you are rebelling against. In the end however, your rebellion will cause your own demise.
@Jdillafied ... By the way, I do NOT take vitamin supplements, asprin or any OTC medications, and I have NOT been prescribed any medication in over thirteen years, if not more. I do NOT have a "healthy" diet, but I am NOT overweight.
@CNSagent so you stopped recieving prescribed medication more than thirteen years ago? that means 5 years before you started smoking marijuana, or 6 before you started inhaling. This mean generally speaking you have very good genetics. Also vitamin supplements arent necessary if you eat a healthy diet with plent of veg and protein. Now, how often do you smoke? everyday? if so, how many joints a day? also you mentioned that you are homeschooling, at what age did you start? what age did you stop?
@CNSagent What are you doing at the moment? studying/ working/still homeschooling? You say your family life is excellent, thats good. Do you have any hobbies? do you play any sports? how often do you read/study? What subjects do you read/study?
@CNSagent By the way, as i mentioned you may have good genetics and you are still young, hence why you may not have intense paranoia or any mental unstability. However, 8-7 years of smoking is no joke, especially since you started at a very young age, pre-teen and most of your teenage life. Did you know that teenagehood is a very important stage in a persons mental and physical development? Hypothetically if you stopped smoking RIGHT NOW until the age of about 21, you body may be able to
@Jdillafied ... I can provide study reviews that reinforce, and contradict your last comment. Once again, modulation of the endogenous cannabinoid sytem produces biphasic effects.
@Jdillafied The following qoute originates form an article that reinforces and contradicts your previous comment.
"In conclusion, these experiments show that mice appear resistant to behavioral sensitization of the locomotor-activating effects of THC. Even after systematic variation of several experimental parameters such as the frequency of THC treatments, exposure to the test apparatus during treatments, and manual vs automatic recording of activity, we failed to detect any sensitization...

@CNSagent you fucking pot heads will never see sense. That fucking article has nothing to do with growth or cell development, it talks primarily about behavioral sensitivity.
@CNSagent grow and develop as it should have been. But if you keep smoking until or after the age of 21, you would have missed the best time to let your body develop, and YOU WILL REGRET IT later in life. Right now you are still young, you are full of will and strength, but as you get older your body wont be able to cope with your drug abusing, and it will start to degenerate, you will lose weight, strength and your brain will cease to function properly. and thats just the tip of the iceberg
@Jdillafied I'm heavily involved in music, and I'm thoroughly interested in pharmacology, toxicology and pharacokinetics of psychoactive substances. I have always disliked sports. My family is more involved in music.
There is no history of schizophrenia, psychosis or any othe mental disorders in my family.
Yes, I am aware that it is very important to preserve the prepubescent and adolescent mind from drugs, however, I started consuming caffeine before I started smoking...
@Jdillafied ... Furthermore, an experiment in rats using a published protocol also failed to demonstrate sensitization. It appears that this phenomenon may only occur under very particular conditions, raising doubts about its relevance to chronic cannabis users. At the very least, it can be concluded that the phenomenon appears much less robust...
@CNSagent tobacco has 60 cancer causing agents, cannibis has more than 400, some of which are in very high levels. You are destroying your body and you will suffer if you do not stop. Its inevitable and simply statistical mathematics. If you are smoknig everyday, tell me, how is your social life? your work life? your school life? your partner, family life? are they not suffering? be honest with yourself.
@Jdillafied ... I am NOT obese nor am I overweight. I haven't ran a mile in quite awhile, but I'm sure I could manage it.
My blood pressure is fine. I don't know about my cholesterol.
I do NOT suffer from excessive coughing nor have I ever had a respiratory infection, or any infection that requires antibiotics, for that matter. I have never talking an atibiotic, to my memory.
I have NOT had any vaccinations in over easily nine years, if not longer.
@CNSagent are physically fit are you? can you run for more than 1 mile without stopping? how is your high blood pressure? are you overweight? how is you collesteral? do you suffer from excessive coughing or lung disease? mind you these are all relevant to long term users, i.e 4+ years. If you havnt used for long quit now and let your body regenerate. When i first quit i remeber feeling like i was 70 years old, when im only 22. Now, 6 months clean i feel about 30, not yet full healed but better.
@Jdillafied I've never been a very socially active person, even in my prepubescent years, but during social situations I am usually charming and pleasant to be around.
I always payed my attention in school, and I maintained acceptable grades, however, following the completion of the seventh grade, I decided to withdraw from public school and enrole in a homeshcooling program.
My family life is excellent. I am praised by my family...
@CNSagent but then you might say, its my body i can do whatever i want to it. Then i would say you are forgetting that the law isnt only there to protect others from yourself, but also yourself from yourself. Thats why suicide is illegal. Anyway, what i can honestly say is that i dont want anyone to go through what i have gone through because they dont think marijuana is as hard or dangerous a drug as cocaine, exactly my thoughts less than a year ago, until ofcourse, something happens
@Jdillafied ... It is your body. My body is my own, as well. Nobody can tell me what I can do with my body as long as I'm not physically harming anyone else in the process or outcome of my actions.
If you don't agree with that then you are oppressive and against freedom.
If I want to consume cannabis, alcohol, cocaine, heroin, cyanide or any other substance, that is my decision, not your's or anyone else. It's my decision to listen though. If you could persuade me to not do such things...
@CNSagent you become insane and have several near death experiences. I guess sometimes you have to hit rock bottom before any of this makes sense to you. If so, keep smoking. But its gonna be a rough ride believe me.
Some of the effects of cannabis that you stated are true, but the majority of your statements are OBVIOUS DISINFORMATION. You're not fooling me.
I have an endless array of research reviews that are far more legitimate than you comments that lack direct quotes and sources. You're going to have to do better than "a study done at the university of indiana."
But, keep in mind, I'm of aware all apects of exo- and edo- cannabinoids, good & bad...
@CNSagent with tabacco i will admit your body doesnt really tell you how much damage you are doing to your system. But i still dont think tabacco is as harmful and certainly not more harmful than marijuana. For example, you can fly a plane or drive a lorry in bad weather or be a firefighter or perform heart surgery just after smoking a cigarette, but can the same be said about marijuana?

@CNSagent and also marijuana contains far more harmful chemicals than tabbacco including ammonia (twenty times more in marijuana than tabacco) and hydrogen cyanide (3-5 times higher than tabocco).
In closing, yes maybe alcohol and tabacco should be illegal too, but marijuana should definately remain illegal aswell. It is more harmful than tabacco contrary to popular belief. I blame the internet.
@Jdillafied You don't know what you're talking about, and I'm almost certain that you're intentionally providing disinformation. All your claims are refutable.
Cannabis is much safer than any other psychoactive drug.

In contrast, tobacco smoke increases the likelihood of carcinogenesis by overcoming normal cellular checkpoint protective mechanisms through the activity of respiratory epithelial cell nicotine receptors. Cannabinoids receptors have not been reported in respiratory epithelial cells (in skin they prevent cancer),...
its illegal for a reason. Its bad for your physical and physcological health. somebody who smokes marijuana and says it should be legalized is excactly the same a a compulsive speeder saying driving over the speed limit should be legalized, or a compulsive murderer saying killing should be legalized. Fine you may say that marijuana is unlike the above examples because it doesnt hurt other people around you. That is untill you get addicted and life gets ugly, mood swings, dropping out of school
@CNSagent I havent heard many cases of alcohol causing paranoia or physcosis. I know from expereince that yes alcohol does harm your liver and brain and blood, and yes cigarettes are harmful but both of them are harder to abuse than marijuana, which contains 400 or more chemicals(not to mention whatever shit your dealer adds to it to keep his stuff above competition) including 4 times more benzopyrene than a cigarette, meaning it is 4 times more cancer causing.
@Jdillafied ... Furthermore, compounds found in cannabis have been shown to kill numerous cancer types including: lung cancer, breast and prostate, leukemia and lymphoma, glioma, skin cancer, and pheochromocytoma. The effects of cannabinoids are complex and sometimes contradicting, often exhibiting biphasic responses... Smoke from tobacco and cannabis contains many of the same carcinogens and tumor promoters. However, cannabis and tobacco have additional pharmacological activities,...
@Jdillafied ... both receptor-dependent and independent, that result in different biological endpoints... The immunological effects resulting from smoking tobacco or cannabis are also distinctive and result in opposite end-points. Again, the carcinogenic potential of smoke is increased by tobacco, whereas it is uniquely reduced by the specific immune regulatory activity of cannabinoids in cannabis smoke...
marijuana can be addictive, but less than 5% of regular users become addicted. its less addictive than caffine, witch you can get in a vending machine at school in the form of a bottle of soda.
Most in rehab for marijuana are forced to go there by the courts. well over half of the people in treatment for marijuana are forced by the justice system or their employers to attend.
Fuck this video. I'm a pitcher for my high school baseball team, I train in brazilian jiu jitsu, boxing and I bike 12 miles at least 2 times a week and i lift 4 times a week AND I use marijuana. I had cancer-preventative surgery on my stomach and ever since, my stomach has been screwed. Marijuana allows me to be able to eat to maintain healthy weight. It also makes me a beast when i drum!
I use it for many activities, such as working out at the gym; it lets me focus longer so I have more stamina. I'm in the best shape of my life due to this. If you play music, smoke weed. It's as if it whispers in your ear which notes you should play and how. Some of the great modern artists have found their inspiration in various drugs. Don't demonize. Legalize!
@MoneyOverBitches806 im sorry but physcological addition isnt something that should be considered lightly. For example, if you told your self everyday you were a worthless nothing even though physically you are something, you would still become depressed. The mind is very powerful. Also you are not putting into account the FACT that marijuana is physically addictive aswell. It releases dopamine in the brain giving the user a feeling of euphoria 5 to 10 seconds after inhalation of the drug.
@Jdillafied ... In conclusion, while both tobacco and cannabis smoke have similar properties chemically, their pharmacological activities differ greatly. Components of cannabis smoke minimize some carcinogenic pathways whereas tobacco smoke enhances some. Both types of smoke contain carcinogens and particulate matter that promotes inflammatory immune responses that may enhance the carcinogenic effects of the smoke. However, cannabis typically down-regulates immunologically-generated...
The sign of a true Retard. Is he who smokes 4 spliffs every day and say that its not addictive. Im sick and tired of you potheads your arguments are all invalid, it is addictive. it is harmfull, it dossent make you smarter. it is a gateway drug, and yes it is a plant so is Sanpedro cactus try that and then say that plants are harmless
Cannabis isn't physically addicting. Someone might like the feeling of getting high, but marijuana won't cause you any withdrawl like you would get from some other drugs. Why do you think pot is a gateway drug when we have liqour stores, drug stores, coffee shops, all of these in plain view everywhere? San pedro is a diffrent story. You need to be more careful with that because it is possible to overdose.
Fuck off you lame weed smoker. Dont come with your bullshit acting like marijuana is harmless just go to EROWID and see that half of the tripp report from marijuana was BAD TRIPS !! fucking retard i hope you die, SCUM !!
Have / Do you smoke weed? I've once in my life had a 'bad trip' if you can even call it that. A bad trip on weed is usually eating too much and waking up with a stomach ache. I don't generally wish death on people either, says alot about your state of mind.
Tokendrone what a lame name thats all you marijuana addicts think of is to get your next hit. and then you claim its non addictive and a wounderdrug.. You make me sick retard !!
there hasn't been ONE SINGLE documented fatality due to marihuana-abuse! Check out the stats of fatalities due to alcohol and nicotine abuse:) Or any other drug by that means! I think weed-bashers will be surprised;)
everything can be addictive in some way or another! that's just human nature, concerning habits. as it has been mentioned, people can even get addicted to chocolate or sex. this is because of the brain releasing the "happy-hormone" when enjoying sex and/or chocolate;) as to the chemical-addiction levels in weed, it's sooo small. Caffeine, alcohol and nicotine are much worse. So please stop trashing weed and passing it of as the killer amongst drugs.
weed can be habit forming, this is true. so can chocolate and sex, lets make them illegal as well. I know many people, myself included who have been everyday pot smokers and have had to quit for one reason or another. None of use have had any trouble coping without it, physically.
There is zero physical withdrawal. Try to just suddenly put the cigs down or tell an alcoholic to put the booze down then you will see what addiction is.
There is NO rational, logical or scientific reason for the cannabis plant to be prohibited for medicinal, industrial, or even recreational/spiritual use for adults.
except that the government cannot control the purchase and use of it and make money off of it as well as alcohol and tobacco, because it is a plant and much more simple to smoke from plant form than tobacco
Cannabis (marijuana) is about as addictive as caffeine, if you do not believe me I can dig up a source where 3 drug experts with MDs all put cannabis's addiction potential at or below caffeine.
THC is completely metabolized into nonactive metabolites within a few hours after ingestion so no, it does not effect coordination when someone is not using it.
Over 50% of treatment addmissions for cannabis are because it is illegal and a judge sends them there when they are caught.

I have an excellent memory...

Jdillafied 1 year ago

@Jdillafied You're playing the biased liar again.
CNSagent 1 year ago
@Jdillafied ... And that is quite an insult (calling my info vague).
You have not provided a single quote or a source. And when I say "source" I mean a legimate one (i.e. a research review from a medical journal).

Jdillafied 1 year ago
@Jdillafied No offense, but you're biased. Alcohol can do the same exact thing, and it's legal.
CNSagent 1 year ago

The immunological effects resulting from smoking tobacco or cannabis are also distinctive and result in opposite end-points. marijuana can be addictive, but less than 5% of regular users become addicted. its less addictive than caffine, witch you can get in a vending machine at school in the form of a bottle of soda.

"Want to get rid of marijuana?"
Fuck no! And fuck you for suggesting it!
Legalize!

MoneyOverBitches806 1 year ago 8
@MoneyOverBitches806 im sorry but physcological addition isnt something that should be considered lightly. For example, if you told your self everyday you were a worthless nothing even though physically you are something, you would still become depressed. The mind is very powerful. Also you are not putting into account the FACT that marijuana is physically addictive aswell. It releases dopamine in the brain giving the user a feeling of euphoria 5 to 10 seconds after inhalation of the drug.
Jdillafied 1 year ago

Im sick and tired of you potheads your arguments are all invalid, it is addictive. it is harmfull, it dossent make you smarter. it is a gateway drug, and yes it is a plant so is Sanpedro cactus try that and then say that plants are harmless

i completely agree finally someone with a brain
SixShotMaryDown 2 years ago
Cannabis isn't physically addicting. Someone might like the feeling of getting high, but marijuana won't cause you any withdrawl like you would get from some other drugs. Why do you think pot is a gateway drug when we have liqour stores, drug stores, coffee shops, all of these in plain view everywhere? San pedro is a diffrent story. You need to be more careful with that because it is possible to overdose.

there hasn't been ONE SINGLE documented fatality due to marihuana-abuse! Check out the stats of fatalities due to alcohol and nicotine abuse:) Or any other drug by that means! I think weed-bashers will be surprised;)
nybakg 2 years ago
everything can be addictive in some way or another! that's just human nature, concerning habits. as it has been mentioned, people can even get addicted to chocolate or sex. this is because of the brain releasing the "happy-hormone" when enjoying sex and/or chocolate;) as to the chemical-addiction levels in weed, it's sooo small. Caffeine, alcohol and nicotine are much worse. So please stop trashing weed and passing it of as the killer amongst drugs.
nybakg 2 years ago
weed can be habit forming, this is true. so can chocolate and sex, lets make them illegal as well. I know many people, myself included who have been everyday pot smokers and have had to quit for one reason or another. None of use have had any trouble coping without it, physically.
There is zero physical withdrawal. Try to just suddenly put the cigs down or tell an alcoholic to put the booze down then you will see what addiction is.

except that the government cannot control the purchase and use of it and make money off of it as well as alcohol and tobacco, because it is a plant and much more simple to smoke from plant form than tobacco

Over 50% of treatment addmissions for cannabis are because it is illegal and a judge sends them there when they are caught.
curiousproclivity 3 years ago 3
Completely agree, imagine putting people in rehab for caffeine and tobacco addiction.
