Dog Training - Have You Hugged Your Dog Today?

Why is it that some dogs do not like it when you touch them on their sides? By that I mean the edges of their stomach. Most of the dogs I've come across do not like this. Could you please explain? Thank you.

ive seen so many dog show on pups ect and wild dogs ect. im getting a malinois next july but are females naturally less dominant and more loving?

my wife has 2 chihuahuas and they are not housebroken either. I don't believe that you can train those little rats. I have always had and still have Golden retrievers and they are so easy to train. Take the chihuahuas and feed them to the larger dogs.

How many leaders in the pack? For example our La Pom is just three months old and belongs to my youngest daughter. She shows the puppy that she is alpha female, but I am the leader of the pack. Any suggestions?

My dog Akira has trouble with not picking up things off the ground outside when we pull her away from it she,ll run back, we mostly walk her offline which she's perfect at!, its just getting her to not eat things I.E tissue nappy sacks food ect. SOS

I rescued 2 chihuahuas...A breed I swore I'd never have anything to do with because they were "Yappy little rats"...

OK...They ARE a bit yappy, but they turned out to be pretty cool dogs...Except...

I can not get them potty trained...Any suggestions...

I could not get my dog potty trained either! Finally I was just SO frustrated with it I picked up his poo and put it in his food bowl...hah...what do you know...he has NEVER had a problem since.

Maybe he doesn't even know what all that means, maybe you got to teach him clearly all over gain or establish yourself as the Alpha
