  • Beautiful

  • Is it possible for me to get the sheet music or arrangement for this song? I want to have our church choir sing this song

  • Beautiful performance!! Congratulations, that was gorgeous!

  • Just beautiful, The Lord Bless You and Keep You, for providing excellent

quality Spiritual Love through music. whenever you feel low, alone and sad

this music revitalises the inner soul. Thank you

  • praise the Lord for give us such a beautiful music & gourgus choir. splendid

  • This performance is brilliant!

  • this song is awesome I did last year when I was a freshman at the very end of our Spring Concert which was the very last concert of the year.. It was awesome the way it sounded in the auditorium with all the choirs singing it at once

  • I like this interpretation, congratulations!!!!!!

  • added to my favorites..

  • Splendid--warm and beautiful! I would LOVE this choir to sing my music!!

  • That moment at 0:50 when all four parts sing for the first time is just magic...

Such a lovely four part choir piece, the chord changes are so different yet brilliant.

  • good work on this piece!

  • this song is always touching me a lot... thx, it's wonderful

  • excellent performance!!

  • This is good, but i much prefer the Lutkin version. Can't beat a classic.

  • Precioso, que maravilla¡¡¡

  • where can you find the SATB version of this anthem? please let me know. I am a choir director.

  • nin456 may not like Rutter but that's common - my choral society either loves or hates the man! This is one of his easier works and so beautiful - I can't fault this. If anyone can complain about this, they should try being part of a performance of Rutter's Magnificat! That'll teach them how to read music.

  • Beautiful!

  • From Spain: a wonderful version. Sung with great sensitivity and style. Many choirs sing it, but few can sing like you.

  • Wow......this is absolutely stunning, I think it might be better than the performance my school gives!! ^_^ Just brilliant!! ^_^

  • Praise God

  • Lovely. The organ part (which I played on the piano) is really tough. But similarly lovely.

  • Wonderfully done.

  • Wonderful singing and a wonderful hymn, Much enjoyed by MorikoMacey from Wothing.

  • we sang this song for our concert choir, but its nothing compared to this. :D

  • awesome...

  • Beautiful!

  • i do this at my school acapella

  • this song is SO beautiful.

  • Beautiful singing from a miserable bunch.

  • the sops high notes are very under most of the time .... same with the tenors as well

  • @zippyninny I find it amuzing that most folks probably like yourself can't carry a tune in a bucket but yet find the license to critisize others who do what you in a million years cannot come close to rendering.

  • wow.. absolutely amazing...

  • lovely. :)

  • i heard there is some mistakes on the piano

  • niceeeeeeeee

  • all the voices are perfect! kudos specially to the tenors. its hard to maintain such soft light tone when you have to turn up the volume.. this is so far the best version of this song i've heard. beats most world renowned choirs i know

  • The Brighton Secondary School have a long reputation of having an excellent world class music program, especially choral program. It is also a Government-funded (what we call Public) school. I didn't even go to the school!

  • could use some more tenor.

  • lol what choir couldnt?

  • Wonderful! I'm crying right now. Just beautiful

  • Yay!! I'm in this! Can't believe it found it's way onto youtube...we were so good!!

  • it's completely different from how we sang dat song! but u guyz were AWSOME!.......nicely done

  • I can't fault this performance.

    Beauitful

    x

  • Beautiful tone, beautifully balanced sound-lovely!

  • EXCELENTE

  • They aren't smiling enough - you get a better tone and actually look like you're enjoying yourself if you do...I love this piece though.

  • You are an idiot.

  • No, as a fact he is right.

  • Um, no. Smiling makes the sound more lateral and less pleasing; the more vertical the mouth-> the more space inside the mouth-> a more pleasing tone. Very first thing they teach us in any choir, and the directors here harp on that if we forget it. You can look happy and energized without sacrificing tone.

By the way, the sopranos here have a lovely clear, bell-like quality on their high notes, so they're doing absolutely fine.

  • small pointer to you friend, the form of the mouth does not necessarily dictate how much space is in your mouth. That is controlled more by the tongue being flat and the upper gum (sp?) raised. In fact, my lips can be touching, but the inside of my mouth can be wide open and spacious.

    just a thought...

  • lol im with you

  • You are absolutely spot on with your comment about smiling. Particularly with regards to tone. Big problem with a lot of choirs who may have pefect pich is a lack of smiles and consonants.

  • John Rutter lives really close to me and iv met his son so I should be a big fan of his work...but I'm not. I just don't enjoy his choral music that much. It feels predictable and not particularly emotional. However I can tell this is a great choir.

  • omg what??

  • very good. but I would like to suggest something... maybe make the singers face light up than frowning. make it more interpretative. i love your voices, dont waste them.. conductor is very good. good job.

  • gorgeous! your pure tone and amazing blend are PERFECT for this song! Chorale sings this every year for the last high school choir concert of the school year, and we learn this song when we first start high school. Every time I think about this song I want to cry because I'm a senior and will be singing it soon for the last time... but it is a truly beautiful song and you sang it brilliantly!

  • great! :)

  • I remember singing this 7 years ago in Germany - still makes me sad...

  • Que o Deus te abençoe e guarde, que faça resplandecer Seu rosto sobre ti e te de paz.

    Benção Aaraonica.

  • This Is My School Choir's Trademark Song, We Do It For All Special Occasions To Do With The School :) x

  • our's too. :) we cry together xD

  • same thing with our school except we have a different version of it...im going to have a video of ours soon so check it out

  • j'aime la musique Anglaise et cette belle pièce que j'ai beaucoup chanté avec le Choeur de lUniversité de Trois -Rivières ,bravo

  • We're singing this song in the choir of our school. verry difficult .. but beautiful

  • lovely, just discovered Rutter and several renditions of this particular work. Well done. please compare with "les choristes" live au palais des congres. A masterpiece and thank you for posting it on Youtube

ps Can anyone please let John Rutter know how happy he has made people?

  • Beautiful! I've heard this on a male version and it's geourgus... This one is amazing... Praise the Lord 4 such great music.
