if you're going to upload these don't skip audible text, some people like to hear the characters speak, oh you can turn the text speed up a notch in options so its not as slow and annoying. All in all good vid, can't wait for more, gunna use this as a stepping stone for when I get the game tomorrow....hopefully

This will be my fifth cart 3DS game... LoZ:3D, Harvest Moon: Tale of Two cities (horrible, sold it in 2 days), Mario Kart 7, Super Mario 3D Land, Tetris Axis, Sonic Generations (Don't bother purchasing.)

I am a huge fan of tales of the abyss and have played it through several times. Does anyone know if I would be able to accustom tothe 3ds controls easily?

@phazon55 From what I've seen and heard, the controls are almost exactly like how they were in the PS2 version. The only thing that had to be changed was how you use arte shortcuts; instead of using a second analog stick, you now just tap one of the four artes on the touch screen.

They delayed it for the USA cause they thought it would not compete to the like of Mario 3D land and Mario Kart so they delayed it so it has better sales when the Mario Fad starts to slow down after christmas.

@GamerGuy800 The terminology in this game is a bit confusing when it starts out, but it all gets explained as you go. The other games in the "Tales" series are not connected in any way, much like Final Fantasy.

While it's supposed to be a direct port with nothing missing, I already noticed that the tutorial for fighting in the PS2 version is fully voiced. Here, it's dead silent.

@Jammet as the voices are supposed to be from the PS2 version, the buttons are probably named different then the PS2 buttons. Thats what I think at least

as for voices for the skits unlikely to be voiced since the 3DS version of abyss is mostly a direct port.

Btw I skipped leveling Tear and Luke until after you can use C cores if you level up before you get the C cores to set party Tear and Luke may have lower total base stats.
