Andeh I found out something in another video. If your playing the Shifter mod, and you have a pepper gun, you can use the pepper to spray the lasers and somehow block them which allows to slip through them without you being detected by the lasers. Type in "using the peppergun to skip laser tripwires in Deus Ex" in the Youtube search box in order to watch the video.

Game is so easy, what's the difference between realistic and any other mode? I never play it on anything other than realistic. Vetrans are supposed to be infiltration as well as less than lethal experts. Baton, Tranq darts and prod. I admit the flamethrower is a fun weapon though. Who doesn't like lighting the other characters on fire?

A question: does this video series focus on showing as many optional dialogues and plot-related logs and messages as possible, or is it more like a speedrun/skillrun? I'd like to show a friend what the game's story was about and was wondering whether this video could serve as an easy solution for that, but I don't want him to miss out on too much.

@neithan83 it doesn't show every optional dialog, but it's definately not a speedrun. It's just a playthrough of the game, the way anyone would playthrough it.
