@marcxopoco I don't think there are THAT many cornermen better than Gil Clancy. He worked for many great fighters, including Buchanan, Emile Griffith, Jerry Quarry, et al. Pretty good fighters--thus a pretty good cornerman.

Quarry lost every big fight he had with Clancy in his corner.

After Foreman lost to Jimmy Young he said, "I never should have boxed him."

Clancy was his cornerman who made the fight plan.
