No, only Sprint has it. Sorry! I think you are thinking of the MyTouch3G, which looks similar but has the standard Android UI. The MyTouch came before HTC Sense or the Hero.

multi-tasking is something android prides itself on.

and im not sure about the different ways to do it but i know the home screen allows for 6(?) pages that all run simultaniously. also, there a drop down menu on the top bar.

the packaging of these phones on sprint has been very disappointing lately. My Instinct way back had a nice fancy box..but both the hero and the instinct hd had shitty looking boxes. oh well...and no headphones..what a rip off

I just watched a video of another guy who got his Hero and the screen was destroyed. Not sure why the cheesy packaging. Then again, the Instinct came with all sorts of fancy boxes...and that phone turned out to be a complete letdown.

yeah the packaging is pretty horrible. if it wasn't for instant discounts from sites like wirefly, i'd probably get it in store to avoid possible shipment damages.

@rufph: It's a mini-usb port. It's the HTC version that is compatible with it's custom peripherals as well as all standard mini-usb connectors.
