I think if you add it all up, there's only about 10-15 seconds tops of actual dancing in this floor routine. And even that's just various arm and upper body-only movements. This is just a lot of jumping, tumbling, and running around. If it weren't for that double-double no one would ever have mesmerized by her on the floor in the first place. She's a powerful tumbler and lands well, but she doesn't even have good form. She's sort of a Zamo, only with less style and choreograpy.
Not only is her form attrocious, but this routine is the crux of the problem with gymnastics atm. And the double turn in Y she did was horrible, BTW. She sure can stick a landing, but her gymnastics sucks IMO.

I hope they add that to the dictionary: "v. the process by which a seemingly talentless gymnast unashamedly boosts their A score to astronomical heights in an effort to win AA and EF titles."
ack! she fell out of her turn. she reminds me of a damn windmill. i don't think i've ever heard of of the term "code whore" before but that was the funniest sh*t I've ever read. and you are absolutely right. i don't know if it's her, the code of points or her damn coach, but her gymnastics is ugly and awkward.

damn!!! vanessa can occasionally suck. BUT THIS WAS THE BEST FX SHE EVER DID!!!!!!! OMG AWESOME, AND SHE DOES THE MEMMEL (DT IN Y)
