@ufovin yes, it is. Vash isnt making it out to be anything other than what it is: awesome. If you wanna enjoy an awesome story (cutscenes and all), with great gameplay, then this is a game you need to play, honestly one of the defining games of the PS3. Hope I helped =D

@g3657b If you shoot a PMC the rebels will take you as an ally thats why they didnt do anything. But if you have the rebel disguise you can just run through this point.

It's a threat indicator. It detects when enemies are around and their position.

it's a white ring that visibly vibrates when sound is made nearby. it also determines how close as well as dangerous an enemy is. the higher the portion of the Threat Ring is, the more dangerous & close the enemy is.

@ZackaryXX Sensory. Basically when you play a game, you can't smell or hear or feel things like you would if its real. So the circle will spike when an enemy is near. (Basically Snake is either smelling an enemy or hearing someone, or he hears a change in wind due to an enemy. Something a long those lines.)
