It's actually about a real band, Top Jimmy & the Rhythm Pigs. Saw them at the Belly Up in Solana Beach back in the mid-80's. Because of this song. Really decent blues rock band with a rough boozy lead singer. Perfect. Sadly, Jimmy (not his real name) is gone now from liver failure, imagine that. Excellent tribute by VH to a cool band.

Eddie Van Halen is so awesome on this song. Wish they'd made a video out of this one. In fact, while the "Jump" and "Panama" videos are awesome, I never really cared as much for the "Hot for the Teacher" video, and if I had to pick, I'd have rather they done this one on video. Yes, I'm sure he understands how good he is. He certainly knows that all that many who came after him were imitators. But he's not an ego maniac. Paranoid? Possibly. Reclusive? Certainly. Eccentric?
