He needs to improve his posture. he shouldnt have his shoulders hunched over like that. The man should exude confidence in all of these latin dance styles. Plus, mix up the moves please! Do a release, a dip, something!
@AverageWhiteMuslima I couldn't see the video very well but much of what you responded with I noticed immediately. It's as if they're not a regular couple who dance together OR neither are strong dancers to begin with. The moves are crisp or full & it's as if they can't handle a change-up in the routine. My 1st thought was, amateurs. It's like they don't understand that w/Prince's music, all you have to do is simply feel the music & the body will follow if you're a strong dancer in the 1st place

i just watched the video from "CoolTango" to Prince's "The Question Of You." if you listen to the music, it's sensual, steamy, erotic if you will. the dancers had no passion, no feeling for the music. as a dancer you have to feel the music not only with your body but with your heart and soul. the movement of the steps has to have a passion as if they were having foreplay. in other words you have to seduce your audience. you have to draw them in. make them think that they are dancing also.
