i feel so bad for goku. I know what is like to not have a father around. this movie makes me very emotional at points cuz my father passed away when i was only 7 but i still cherish the memories i had with him. i can relate to goku so much. I love my father to death and dad i love you and rest in peace i just hope we meet again someday. Bardock is goku's real father i mean what did grandpa gohan wack him on the floor until his tail came off and letting goku hit his head on a rock.

Ah.....no. "Bardock meets Goku" implies that this is their first evarz encounter.....which it isn't. That happens shortly before.

While some might argue that Goku didn't meet him then because he was a baby....here he's an illusion, so....uhm...stuff lol.

Also, this isn't a movie, it's a tv special. It actually belongs to the weekly anime series back then.

The new one (Episode of Bardock)...not so much. It wasn't that good. It was cool...but meh. I kinda wish they pulled in Toriyama for the story in it. He only really drew the original character design for Chilled.

That's why we also got the bullshit defeat of Ultimate Gohan even though it would be more logical and Akira's original plan to make him the strongest Z Warrior.

GT isn't even written by Akira, just a shitty production team who wanted to milk the Dragon ball franchise even though the author wanted it to end with DBZ. That's why it blowed and can never be compared to the previous master-pieces. Honestly, most fans tend to believe that GT didn't even exist. Bad writing, horrible villains, and much more. No wonder it go such low ratings in Japan.

@punjatti101 The original Dragon Ball is the best one by far it's classic Toriyama with great comedy and action in the latter parts of the series plus there was hardly any of the over the top muscles and ridiculous power levels, I loved the saiyan and freeza sagas of DBZ the android saga was just a long filler arc for cell and I loved the climatic battles with cell. I just didn't like how the old DB heroes got cast aside and didn't get a fair share of victories.
