actually most of his calculations... were correct... he may have re originated so many planets but that also means the people on the planet weren't strong enough to stop him... or do anything about it in which no one powerful enough to protect the planet existed, so it was ok

Sucks to be Algalon, actually. After all millenias of witnessing destruction of more living creatures than you can ever imagine he realizes how wrong he was in his "calculations".

He must be cursing his own existence for doing this, to some extent. Shutting himself down was his own way of running away from the sense of immense guilt for all "reoriginations". Damn, he's not feeding on your tears, he just needs a hug, which he cannot recieve, being an intelligent constellation that he is.

@Konsento25 Yes he was. This was one of the only boss in Wrath worthy of being callled a Boss. One person fucked up ment instant wipe. Everytime we started him up, I thought I was going to dc. The Lightspeed effect is not fun on a 4 year old computer. We downed him with 20 minutes left. I got lucky and took the place of an officer who could not show up. I think that was the only time we downed him because our "Key" left the guild shortly there after to start his own guild.

@roleplayfreak Looking at the damage from Big Bang on 10M, it is eatable. It does 76313 to 88687 Physical damage. In order to get to him, someone in your group needs the Celestial Planetarium Key. So yeah, he can still kill you if your healers are not on the ball, but I do not think your healers want to be healing 10 people back up to full health for a total of 763k-887k health that is alot of mana and healing just so you can eat an avoidable ability. If you want a true sense of the fight...

@roleplayfreak cont. just do the mechanics. It will make the kill feel a little bit more epic. There has also been reports that Algalon has been scaled in HP and Damage output to level 85. I do not know if this is true or not as I fought him only once and that was during 3.3.5. Side Note: On 25M, Big Bang will one-shot anyone with 112k HP and below.

@roleplayfreak He can and he will. A lot of the mechanics, if not handled properly, will screw the fight, detach you from your healers, and make everything messy. I took a group of 85s to get their Starcaller titles and some of them actually did die during the fight.

tbh, truth be told, ulduar was awesome, not and even in 264, the dps is laughable compared to back in the day i know, but the boss mechanics are still amazing, sadly, with cata here, ulduar will just be "one of those wrath places" and everyone will forget it, except those people who loved ulduar and will miss it, ulduar, best place ever, dont ever remake it like naxx and ruin it. rant over =]

Plus when you got to Algalon if you're paying attention to the reason you're fighting him the whole thing is crazy epic in my opinion. Saving the world from being destroyed on the spot. None of the other wrath raids even hold a candle to Ulduar, and most of the TBC raids are in the same boat. Can't personally speak for Cata raids, but it would be awesome to see something of the same caliber in the near future.
