  • Who filming and you are relly totly upsets in a good way

  • 14:24 in the back to the right, it looks like there is a HUGE Ninja Turtle toy package... is that what is was? or was it a poster?

  • The footage that your dad made is way better than the vh1 one, we could see most of the collection. Thanks for sharing!!! -vinnie

  • I do not like VH1, but I love Cowabunga Corner =)

  • Do you know that they are making a new ninja turtles movie and cartoon next year I CANT WAIT!!!

  • I think it's awesome I actually still have my stuffed ninja turtle lol I have Leo, right now am collecting ghostbusters

  • Your room is turtle heaven :D

  • wheres jason today???

  • Your father seems so awesome. :D And wow, what an impressive collection. I seriously don't think I've seen a bigger collection of ANYTHING else before, TMNT and non-TMNT related. Too bad that they made you look so kooky, though.

But yeah, you are definitely worthy of the title "World's Biggest Turtle Fan".

  • She should talk about her appearance on Fanatical

  • @DUCKTAPE702 I'll be doing an episode about filming with Fanatical in Season 3 of Cowabunga Corner. Look for it this up coming Fall.

  • That collection is awesome, but I notice that the card said Raphael, when that's Mikey's head.

  • ...are you wearing the same shirt in the intro as you wore on VH1? did I notice something cool?! LOL ;) -Amanda

  • @mandogghouseprods Hehehe yup, I'm wearing the same shirt in the intro that I had for the VH1 show ;)

  • @TurtleGirlIvey yay! I win awesome (no that didn't make sense, but I'm cool with that)

  • Seems like the left channel is totally gone. Using ear buds and heard nothing out of the left (I tend to put only one in, so I can hear around me.) Put in the right, and it was A-ok...but to be fair, Ive only just started. It's good to get your side of the story, Michele.

  • @TMNTJSTR Yes sorry about that, there's two areas where the sound totally drops. We had voice clips recorded to go in there, even put them in and we're not sure why they did not save... I know I watched it with the sound before we saved it.

  • @TurtleGirlIvey seems like the interviewer did a lot of scripting, or leading. Then again, I guess that's what the most dubious interviewers would try to lead the interviewee to say something damning. Kudos to you for nipping it in the bud in the main 3 hour couch interview.

  • it's nice to see that your parents are so supportive with your hobby. That's the coolest part of the video to me.

  • @therichelieufactor Yes, my folks are great and have always been behind me with what I do. :) Glad you liked.

  • The audio does drop in and out but it is great to see your collection in its somewhat completeness. Thanks for sharing, Michele. I love the self portrait, very nice work.

  • @BoggleChamp Hehehe thanks, it was goofing off for my teacher in High School. One of those drawings that just stuck around after I got out of school.

  • The audio does drop in and out but it is great to see your collection in its somewhat completeness. Thanks for sharing, Michele.

  • The sound does drop around 1:34 and then a few other times. Great to see your collection in its more completeness.. Thanks for sharing, Michele.

  • @BoggleChamp Yes, we're not sure what happened with the sound there... there's two parts with missing sound clips, basically I just talk about the collection and the set up for that day. I may do a write up about the missing sound clips for the website. Really sorry about that.

  • Absolutely amazing collection (I'm jealous) and great behind the scenes video. maybe if VH1 ever puts these shows out on DVD you could sell them the footage for a behind the scenes feature? Hopefully they would cough up more than 50 bucks for it ;)

  • LOL!!

"its like coming back to my childhood, but way better."

I remember seeing that interview online awhile ago. I will never stop being jealous of your collection.

On a plus side I have one of the TGRI canisters too. ^_^

  • Thats where I've seen you before. That is a truly awesome collection, Combat Cold Cuts!!

  • I so want that cereal do you realize how delish that box of sugar is!?!? >_<

  • Too bad Totally Obsessed wasn't a good show. I would have loved to see everything in close up.

  • @morbidchid Yeah, and they did film the collection. So I thought it was going to be used. Sad that it wasn't.

  • was i the only one to have audio issues with this ep?

  • @daarsonist713 What audio issues happened for ya? If the mouth didn't match up from time to time, I'm sorry about that... but if it's something else please let me know... we'll check for it.

  • @daarsonist713 I think I realize where your audio problem is and I'm really confused by it too... my editor and I put sound clips in where there is no sound... where I talked more about the collection and stuff... I don't know why it's not there :(

  • was i the only one to have audio issues with this ep?

  • "I need electrolytes, I'm going to pass out"

    "hmmmm mmmm"

  • wow you really do have a passion for what you love i respect that

  • The power of television and editing... I know first hand experience how that is. Sometimes they do a whole interview and never even show it!

  • your totally obsesed XD

    awsome collection :O

  • @TMNTchannel lol I won't deny that ([;{-) Thanks!

  • I hate how the woman conducting the interview puts words in your and your parents' mouths and makes you say stuff so she can have funny lines for her show. It's very mean spirited.

  • @knickerbocker2 Yeah, that's how VH1 works. I wish I realized that before they came to my house, I just never really watched any of their shows before. But knowing is half the battle, by sharing this, hopefully others that have them approach for interviews will know what to except to not feed into their lies.

  • Michele, I've said this before, and I'll say it again; your collection is absolutely unbelievable! I recently just got a new car, and I'm thinking about taking a few trips as soon as I save up some money. when the time comes, is it okay if I come down and visit your turtle sewer lair? That would be totally radical!!

  • @Sykorax We'll see what's going on at my house during the time. Right now we got an extra family living there, so things have been busy and the sewer loft itself is being used to store boxes. I only have one tiny corner where I film "Cowabunga Corner" at. Hoping that within the year I'll get my upstairs back in order, though right now it's just a bit tight. I really do need to get my museum started ;)

  • very cool video it's always great to see behind the scenes stuff like this. and every time i see your collection i am just as amazed as the first time

  • There is absolutely nothing wrong to feel like a turtle because turtle is BASED ON HUMANS .. this goes to show how stupid some peopl can be

Everyone knows you are a nice and cool person on the other hand everyone knows that t v is near to 0 integrity .. they had not even the decency to PAY you for this exclusive event.

You are ten times more integrity , nice and honest and real then those T V robot workers.

  • @TheRogueMonk They just thought they had a funny show, and was going to get a kick out of it. They care not for the people they hurt. I know that there was at least one lawsuit by someone who was on the show. I didn't want to go that far, I can laugh at the show and see it entertaining. I just want people to know, that show is not the real story. It's a joke. I hope by showing this footage, people can see just how VH1 got what they needed for that show.

  • @TurtleGirlIvey you are a great person when you do that.. it takes a lot of inner strength to be like that about this.

  • its funny the lady say its a documentary and yet she was blowing you the lines you had to say , looks more like acting what they asked you to do

  • @lemarc1234 Heh that's how I felt after watching it. Seemed so staged, I couldn't believe how many areas where their cuts were. The part where I say "I have a life" was only repeating the question, I go into the answer right after that with "I work 2 jobs, pay my bills, help around with my family, travel for events, and have lots of great friends" of course lines like that were cut from the show.

  • I just watched the VH1 spot and news interview on a different pages, i thought it was cool.

  • @GreenJanuary yeah ,, SANE real people do not think this is stupid or wierd... only people with no passion and no interest in life would blame ivey .. because they themselves are passionless and depend on stranger ways to satisfy themselves then a interest in ART and ARTISTICAL material becuase that is what turtle is.. turtle is not just a cartoon for children.. its a great art and that is hwy it was sucsessful .. the turtles were based on real human characterstics thoughts intelligence.

  • @GreenJanuary that is why we can relate to turtles unlike most other characters is that turtles actually had depth to them and you can really feel good about thinking or associating yourself with the characters.. sometimes you relate to splinter , sometimes to leo or don or raph or micheal .. depends on which mood or shape your in.. however i cant relate to these people who try to exploit others..to me those are something that would make me insane to be like. to manipulate truth for paper money

  • @GreenJanuary The news spot wasn't bad, I have that posted here on this page. They showed me as a collector and even shared my Turtle costume for what it was. The VH1 spot is the one I had problems with, saying I eat pizza, not sharing anything real about my fandom... how I've met people, been places, the memories... to me the memories are the things that have kept me a fan all these years, and was what I wanted to share the most.... that was cut, they barely even showed the collection.

  • i really wanna see you open this as a ninja turtle museum. if i had money i would invest in it lol

  • @turcosoup I am hoping to some day have a museum, that is a goal of mine. We'll see where things go with this, glad we got video of the collection out displayed as much as it is here.

  • if by chance as a kid i happened to walk into your cool awesome house , i would of dropped dead from the most crazy awesome heart attack ever [:-)

cause the turtles are awesome like that[:-)

  • @mrfurball Hehehe I do have children over from time to time, though these days I'm more nervous about kids near the collection cause of things like the head that are so breakable. But it's always fun to share this collection with both children and adults :)

  • Very very interesting to see the background of when the filming for VH1 was going on.

I would get so annoyed with having to repeat stuff like they were having everyone do in order to twist it for their show. Fanatical was so MUCH BETTER!!

Yay for the next episode! Woot!

  • @Danceingfae Fanatical also had us repeat the questions, that's how those type of interviews work. It just depends on the editing room on how it looks in the end. They did do a LOT better than this.

  • first.
