a better scene with Wainwright was when he just arrived to replace mc kay the lines he delivered about "i have this nasty side about me, some people dont like it but i love it!"

Napper Wainwright was a brilliant character in the series this is one of my fav eps.  The character was referred to several times in other episodes.

Peter Jeffrey who played Wainwright was a great actor, sadly no longer with us!

I remember him from the Christmas episode of Yes, Minister where Hacker is chosen to be the next PM. He was one of the potentials who got blackmailed into not running for the job.

Sad to hear the announcement of passing of Brian Wilde. Probably best remembered for his roles in "Porridge" and "Last of the Summer wine". Another comedy treasure lost!

Definatly, I'm 23 and I really wish I was around when these shows were made, Porridge was the best !
