RPGs tend to be like that. Strategic gameplay and good storytelling, sometimes puzzles. They're not known for intense action, and if it is intense it's through the story.

Geralt has sword scabbards in this version of the game too - I wish they had kept those. In all the detail of the game, that is the one thing tha urks me. Why won't developers make scabbards for weapons?

This must have taken place before the attack on kaer mohren. But then again, there's no such scene. Berengar is a myserious guy who's person we don't know throughout most of the game. i have no idea where you seen this.

I hope you're either 8 years old.. Cause noone is that stupid, the whole idea of consequenses in this game is that you will live them, not see them. So in the example here in the game, he didnt killed the prisoner, and that made his girlfriend die, but he could do something else.. If he would've killed the guy, his girlfriend would have lived at the end >__>.. omg..

You have about 15 options to customize how the movement and basic interface run. I prefer using a free camera and moving with wasd. You don't even need to config this, at the start of a new game it asks you if you want to run mouse control , or mouse keyboard mix. Graphics can be a bit rough unless you have a good machine though.

as far as i have seen this isnt a WASD control game, u mouseclikc and wait for the char to move to the spot and so on and if this is true this will be its downfall. Correct me if i am wrong !1

the game asks you at the beginning which camera mode you prefer. it has an isometric mode, in which case the mouse is used to control everything, and an over-the-shoulder mode, which is the wasd mode. a hybrid between both is also available.

Yes, you're right Volioko. Tolkien is great book, but I prefer Sapkowski's "Wiedźmin" (The Witcher) beacause its much closer to me, it laughs at Europe etc, and its really nice book with a lot of adventures. Its much more complcated than LOTR beacause even positive characters aren't good here.  No one is friendly, everyone wants to make good only for himself (mostly). In LOTR u can easily predict characters' behavior, in Witcher, not. Also the end of Witcher saga is a bit suprising.

Sapkowski is exellent modern writer.Bud because he don't born in USA or UK, for this time he isn't know in world, as much lucky commercial western writer (Rowling, Salvatore, Knaak, Paolini, King and much other shit).I agree witch Vanncil, Tolkien is exelletn too, but Sapkowski is much closer to me, becouse he's literary style is different, realistically, and ORIGINAL.

tolkien's charakters are much deeper and mysterious than sapowski's! and in lotr you have many parallel storylines as well!

a the matter of fact,Tolkien IS much worser than Sapkowski. I can't compromise to fact that such a childish, naive, predictible and trivial fairy-tale as The Lord of the Rings is even compared to the Sapkowski's masterpiece. in the Witcher everything is deeper - the multi-polt storyline, the characters and their morality choices and so on.

this is the studio's first game (or so) so they probably had limited choice in terms of picking publishers, it does not affect the quality of the game, you will have to just see for yourself:)
