This game is alone because they couldn't get any of the holders of The Beatles' music to comply with anything relating to the rest of the franchise.

They're so stingy you can't get a whammy effect on the guitar. The master recordings are JUST that, nothing else. Not sure if the game has drum fills but it kind of fits the same niche.

it's fun once you get into it, and start to play on a harder difficulty if you have an imagination then you'd see how fun it can be when your playing, and singing a long to a song you like, it gives you that feeling of being a rockstar without having to go out there and spend years of learning a real instrument, sure learning a real instrument can be very rewarding but some people just don't feel they have time for one.

Guitar Hero yes, Rock Band, not so much. There have only been 2 proper Rock Band games so far with Legos Rock Band being more kid and family friendly, Rock Band for PSP but that's a new platform and The Beatles Rock Band couldn't exist as DLC. At this point in time, each new GH game is just becoming more and more like a track pack(see smash hits and GH5). Activision just saw what that had an exploited the hell out of it and are playing catch-up with RB.

Well, Smash Hits had the whole Expert+ thing to the drums, so WT couldn't use it, and Metallica doesn't have a Music Store, so. Guitar Hero 5 adds the ability for the four people to have whatever instrument you want. Doesn't matter. Personally, I think that (if The Beatles: Rock Band wasn't about this Beatles, but still had the 3 singers thing) GH5 is just as special as The Beatles: Rock Band (As I said, that's if it wasn't the Beatles. The Beatles make it much mroe special)

I thought Metallica added Expert+ to drums? I just think that for how many GH games there are, even the main games in the franchise aren't looking special enough especially at £40+ a time. Also annoyingly is that not everygame is compatible with the DLC. Understandable for the older games like GH2 and GH3 but shouldn't be the case now.

Guitar Hero: Metallica does have Expert+, but DLC. World Tour was special because of the whole band feature, Metallica was special because of Expert+, GH5 will be special because of the "Anyone can use any instrument" thing. GH3 did have DLC for the X360 at least. Not the Wii though. But WT had a DLC and I bet GH5 will too. Although I have to agree that Metallica and Smash Hits should've had DLC
