This is not what I came here for. The video said "CREATING a hologram in After Effects" this is product placement for someone else who already did that. Anyone here know of a tutorial for how to do this effect manually? I don't want to spend $100 for a pre-fab effect. I want to know how to actually DO this myself.

im going to download Adobe after effects trial because i use FXhome visond lab and its a lot harder to do the hologram look because i have to add like 15 layer just to make it look real. one thing is the plug in free because i know some arent free.

I have probleme with holomatrix:

when i apply any preset, i get some big squares instead of a hologram effect.

when i change the verticale mosaic the square get smaller, but i cant get some lines like you...

my after effect's language is in french, but i fixed the probleme of effect language by change one expression based on the mosaic layer...

but i try to fix the fact that i can't get the holograme look...

could you help me?
