He doesnt need any background vocals because his voice is so stunning, and he just played his guitar clean instead of distorted to hide his mistakes. He can do all this because he is good enough not to need anything else. You could hear him screw up, if he wasnt good enough to play it flawlessly

It's not a pulloff.. its harmonics... you put your fingers lightly on the 12th frets on the a string or multiples.. and pluck them and take your finger off gently but quickly and it makes that sound.. its hard to explain.. but it takes practice.. you'll figure it out, if you are trying to figure it out on guitar or something.

well since it's capo 2 it's the 14th fret. and the way to do it is pick your finger up as quickly as you strum each string. it's actually really easy to do.

Thats the beauty of being the song writer and the one who performs it. You can change it however you please whenever you please.
