This and Tsuki no Ie were really pretty, but the song that really turned me into a fan of Akino Arai's was Kirei na Kanjou. Been buying her cds ever since. ^_^
i remeber when outlaw star was the last show to come on toonami fro the dday and after this would almost make you cry like cartoon carttons would begain and youd be happy once again
@bigtoken90 Man, I want to go back to the time when all I needed to be happy was awesome cartoons, and homework being my only worry. Growing up fucking sucks.
This song is so majestic. Woahh.. nostalgia overload! Toonami is what got me into anime! It was the only thing I looked forward to after school as a kid. Outlaw Star was definitely one of my favorites!!
The ending theme images have alot to do with the show.... They are the girls that served as the past incarnations (aka the key) to the galactic leyline
@rwdplz1 if you watched the series you know that every episode they were fixing up the Outlaw Star. That's the connection to the welding and the song being stuck in your head.
You know what would have been awesome, if Toonami had put One Piece on when it first broadcasted in Japan with Funimation doing the dubbing, it would have been so awesome and it would maybe have a bigger fanbase!!!
I tracked down one of the endings I remember back from Toonami. I think the other one I'm looking for was in one of the Tenchi series. There's a petition to bring back Toonami, people should totally sign it. Toonami was amazing. Although the anime selection these days is not as good, at least anime that Toonami would show to kids. Adult Swim should pick up some new ones.
@Elytius Toonami, as we remembwer it, will never come back. CN has taken a new direction in what programming to show. All that we have left is groups like Toonami Aftermath and Neotoonami.
I remember i used to watch this on Toonami. I forgot the name of it years later but i always remembered the ending to it and i was always trying to remember it. I was looking up a few old animes and then i finally found it! :) probably gonna watch this show over again later with my friend. So glad i found it thank you Toonami and youtube. c:
@TrenTonStackZ it's an emotional thing rather than a literal reference to the plot. It doesn't have to be directly related to outlaw star at all in regards to what it shows
My mom loves this music! This is her favorite ending theme to any anime we've ever watched, and has been since I was like 8. Even when I'm 60 I'll remember this melody, and how me &&my mom would watch this series on Toonami. lol, I'll be telling my kids' kids about our anime times. Damn, where did time go?
That's awesome, dude. I wished I could have enjoyed the anime with somebody else when I first saw this and a few others on Toonami. But with a PARENT?! To cool.
i cry to this song. I'm 16 now, not a virgin, with the girL i Lost it to, she's fiLipino, eastern asian. what i aLways wanted. i Love her so much. we've been together a year in 14 days (17th October 2010)

@ReaperWEare yeah, 2000 - 2005 was the best when it came to toonami and adultswim in my opinion. Hey! Even wrestling was good back then.. Did you ever get to watch Anime Unleashed on TechTv/G4??

as many others have said, this song used to give me chills when i was staying up late watching toonami as a child. And it still does. I don't understand a word in this song. But it conjures such deep, unexplained emotions within me. Best i could describe it is that makes me feel helplessly sad and endlessly at peace at the same. I've always loved this song and the feelings it incites. And now it carries more nostalgia with it than almost anything. Beauty doesn't begin to describe this song
you know, this song always felt like a way to slow down in the anime because it was always moving in a fast pace. So you didn't expect them to have a soft ending theme such as this.
Reminds me of the days when I was young. . . and the world was new, endless, and beautiful. . . I've matured quite a bit since then, but this song takes me back.
