Run out of songs to put on a Guitar Hero game, do you even know how many songs with electric guitar have been released in the last 30 years? Thousands upon thousands, so I doubt the makers of GH are going to run out of songs to use anytime soon. Marilyn Manson, Everclear, Alter Bridge, Creed, Nickelback, Trapt, Saliva, and tons more have not officially made it on to a GH game yet.

Activision released 2 Guitar Hero games last year, Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock and Guitar Hero: Smash Hits (primarily for those who were bummed that GH1 didn't make it to XBox360 and never owned 2 or 3). However, the GH series did not end due to lack of song choices. It was due to the cost of producing the games, and the cost of getting the licensing rights to use master tracks for all the songs included on every Guitar Hero released after GH2.

This is my sixth favorite Guitar Hero game. It's not bad, but I don't like the song list. I like how everyone in the band interacts with each other. I don't like how if you own another Guitar Hero game on the same console, then you have to pay to download the song tracks from those games. It's also very hard for me to find an online match. I try everytime I play this game, but I never get a match.

@tex3121 I have people to play with, it's just that I don't like this game much anymore. There's only like 4 good songs. The on tour series was better than this game. Still, World Tour is my favorite GH game, but my favorite music game is Lego Rock Band. I'd consider it better than GH if it had online play. You can't download songs, face other people online, heck there isn't even an online leaderboard.
