  • Saks Fifth Avenue is the only store still open in the building.

  • That is too bad as it looks interesting! Many malls across America are going under. The Houston Galleria Mall is still active and very busy in down town Houston, Texas.

  • Where is this? 8 story mall?

  • This reminded me Brickyard Mall in NW side of Chicago on West Diversey which it got torn down years ago, it was 3-4 stories.

  • yeah this still open? i want to venture

  • Guess this means Charlestowne Mall(in Saint Charles) and Lincoln Mall(in Matteson) are the deadest malls still in operation in the Chicago area. Really wish I'd gotten to Randhurst in its final year(I'd been there years before, but wasn't into photography back then), before it was torn down....

  • @prfsnlwannabe You forgot, The Evergreen Plaza (Evergreen Park) is some what deadest. I know, I live in Matteson and I never go to Lincoln Mall LOL!!! I go to Orland Square or Chicago Ridge as closest malls in my area, otherwise other malls in West-North Suburbs I go to occasionally.

  • Damn, I really should've made a last visit to Chicago Place Mall, before it was totally sealed off for good. :( Hard to believe TB was the last food court restaurant standing here...

  • More like best place to have ever been built.

  • Why is the mall abandoned? And only taco bell is open? WOW that is creepy. You're right, does remind you of a zombie apocalyptic zombie film.

  • @AutumnMaidenDove

Or a zombie RPG game with the Taco Bell as a save point.

  • @Watcher3223 Haha yeah.

  • I know this place. It's the Chicago Place downtown.

  • 8 floors really????!

  • Completely closed now.

  • @hazzyed So, the Taco Bell is gone, too?

  • An eight story building housing only a Taco Bell, nice!

  • Demolition man

  • I still cant get over you guys using cell phones to take these movies.. Technology has come a long way in say... 10-20 years. Gone are the days where you have a 5 lb camera the size of a shoebox on your shoulder to take videos. lol.

  • Taco Bell was the only restaurant to survive the Franchise Wars. Now all restaurants are Taco Bell! +5 points if you know what thats from.

  • @Anonymous5211987 lol demolition man

  • What mall is this? And what in the world keeps that Taco Bell open? haha

  • the mall of Memphis looked like that.

  • What happened? I have been here before for lunch myself, years back when it was a thriving shopping mall. Really, who would of thought the Taco Bell would survive, kind of like the theory about cockroaches and nuclear war!... lol
