That is too bad as it looks interesting! Many malls across America are going under. The Houston Galleria Mall is still active and very busy in down town Houston, Texas.
Guess this means Charlestowne Mall(in Saint Charles) and Lincoln Mall(in Matteson) are the deadest malls still in operation in the Chicago area. Really wish I'd gotten to Randhurst in its final year(I'd been there years before, but wasn't into photography back then), before it was torn down....
@prfsnlwannabe You forgot, The Evergreen Plaza (Evergreen Park) is some what deadest. I know, I live in Matteson and I never go to Lincoln Mall LOL!!! I go to Orland Square or Chicago Ridge as closest malls in my area, otherwise other malls in West-North Suburbs I go to occasionally.
Damn, I really should've made a last visit to Chicago Place Mall, before it was totally sealed off for good. :( Hard to believe TB was the last food court restaurant standing here...
I still cant get over you guys using cell phones to take these movies.. Technology has come a long way in say... 10-20 years. Gone are the days where you have a 5 lb camera the size of a shoebox on your shoulder to take videos. lol.
What happened? I have been here before for lunch myself, years back when it was a thriving shopping mall. Really, who would of thought the Taco Bell would survive, kind of like the theory about cockroaches and nuclear war!... lol
Saks Fifth Avenue is the only store still open in the building.

Why is the mall abandoned? And only taco bell is open? WOW that is creepy. You're right, does remind you of a zombie apocalyptic zombie film.
