This film makes an effort to present both sides of the story, which is more than a lot of videos do! However there's a lot more to the Enfield case and many others than Richard Wiseman says.
what would be awsome is if all these guys are saying that ghost and ghoyls dont exist, and someone actually gets torn apart like all there blood and innards are strewn across the walls, lol that would make me piss myself laughing, stupid mental faggots.
By the way once she found a way my my parents house by locating me. Now she visits my mother periodically and my mom has hands on evidence that I am not imagining my experiences..
Until you have your experiences I know its hard to believe. For I was open minded but very skeptical. My friend kept telling me about his experiences on a daily basis. I listened but was not sure what to make of it. Until one day I woke up and a ball of energy was sitting on me. I asked to go away it only slightly shifted down. I live in a beautiful cozy home every one like the energy of my place. Yet I have this presence with me on daily basis and am use to it by now.
The German woman is probably the only employee in the world that could thrash the office right infront of her co-workers and the boss and get away with it without getting fired and no salary deductions.
@DALordOfTheLabyrinth I'm getting quite aggravated reading these posts. First, it is better to believe in something, than in nothing, second, science does not have all the answers, and third, IceFritzLanger is right. Look back at the scientific method. Create a hypothesis. Test it. If the experiment doesn't prove it, create a new hypothesis. If the experiment seems to prove the hypothesis, do it again to see if you get the same result. Repeat. Ghost - ie dead spirits - have intellect. :)
Whether or not someone believes in the paranormal, they've got to have some serious mojo to participate in experiments like the ones shown. Props to the post-grad skeptic, especially. o.O
I think darkness (the fear factor, like the gentleman said), psychological effects and such causes these experiences...we only access 20% of our brains...the other 80% could be at play here...or, and I do believe this as well...these experiences could be demonic activity (though I don't believe this in all experiences...I believe the brain is a very complex organ and the fact we know very little about that 80%, makes me question "Ghostly experiences" in terms of them being "Ghosts."
...I have problem with electronic devices at any country i lived...3 TVs blown-up, 3 computers turned blank-white screen, dvd players last for max 2 months, almost every time i wash my hands i get small electric shock...No idea why :(
I am sick and tired of 'science' trying desperately to disprove things that they cannot explain. I am a seasoned investigator and a devoutly rational one at that, always look for the rational first! At a number of investigations I've been pushed, touched, scratched and smacked, so did I do all of this myself or did I imagine it? I have recorded voices, (EVP), footsteps, breathing and a plethora of other noises that were not made by any human intervention whatsoever. Explain that Wiseman!
@conatyl I think you're right. The guy with the glasses was determined to disprove the existence of ghosts. Magnetic fields do have an impact on brain waves from a scientific point of view, which can lead to hallucinations. Can science explain objects moving, apparitions caught on camera and strange noises and sounds caught on tape? The guy with the glasses really winds me up, there's plenty of evidence out there which he clearly ignores and conveniently doesn't mention!
It's nice to be in the dark sometimes, just walk around in your house all pitch black, it makes you feel like you're the ghost and what else is there to fear? it's just nice and calming
Those people didn't hear or feel anything...they just wanted to see, hear or feel something and the reason is because they believe in ghosts...they REALLY wanna believe that...brain is powerful.
@fablesergio Not everyone who sees "something," as you put it, wants to. I'm one of the people that has, and at the risk of you discrediting a complete stranger - me - because you think you're totally right, I've seen plenty that I DIDN'T want to. The brain has to have a reference. Or maybe my grandparents a few generations back, one from one side one from the other, care enough to check up from the other side. The brain is powerful. So is the universe. So is the Creator. Life is no Accident.
scientists think they are right, because they deal in facts and evidence, when there IS scientific proof, you'll find scientists will entertain the idea.
A lot of scientists are unbelievably ignorant. neath death experiences, visions which turned out to become true, guardian angel stories (heeps of), ghost footage... the universe and all the natural systems which are all fitting perfectly. ..
and still the average scientists says: there is no god, I don't believe in ghosts and guardian angels are imagination, we don't know how it is possible but definately it is nothing supernatural.
I was in the edinburgh vaults two weeks ago, my girlfriend got us a nice posh hotel and tickets for the ghost tour as part of my birthday, really spooky place man, heard a few bangs and definately felt something when we were down there, but then someone had to just go and Fart a total topper wen the guide was telling us a story, i almost pissed myself laughin man, girlfriend looked at me as if i done it, I could barely hold my laugh in haha.
There is experiences and the fear factor and an environment. As long as there r many ways to interpret, one can create realities. The question is: which is actually real. Or is nothing real or unreal? Seeing all this, determining how to actually know if ghosts exist can help humans determine reality in any situation. Like for example, say u r doing something (watching movie). Is it real or r u imagining watching a movie?
It's sounds like he opened a gateway more than skeptically removed the idea of ghosts because it still doesn't explain object moving about/evp's etc...
without trying to sound offensive your missing the objective of the virtual tour.
Their simply just trying to recreate the same sensations seeing whether the brain has part to play in the fear felt when they are actually there, The skeptic scientist suggests it could be visually provoked so their just trying best they can to irradicate that theory. Purely For example showing victims of rape pictures of rape victims could bring back certain feelings and fears, this is working on the same ethos.
A psychologist who claims to investigate the paranormal declares, "I don't believe in ghosts." That's like a quantum mechanics researcher asserting, "I don't believe in quarks."
Then we hear one of his lackeys calling what others saw "hallucinations" and claiming that his virtual reality tour was the same as being in the actual, physical place with the people who had personal experiences.
A lot of paranormal claims are nonsense, but this "documentary" is, too.
this documentary is actually way more real than so many others. just stay calm, if you don't like it turn the TV on and watch a movie or PBS if you want a good documentary.

I would have tried to sleep in the vault, just lay down for the 10 minutes. That way you would hear or feel anything in the best possible way.
