Losing your boxer is like losing a family member. They are great dogs. I'm sorry for your loss. I hope you're thinking of getting another. I lost an adopted 1 year old white boxer. She passed away due to distemper. She already had it when I adopted her. I now have a 5 month old puppy and he is a hyper but incredibly loving boxer. My 7 year old son plays with him a lot and they are like little brothers!

He looks a lot like my mother's female boxer who died early last year from a tumour near her heart. Without a doubt one of the best and one of the most loved dogs to ever grace this earth. Whole family, not just mum, was devastated and still miss her. All dogs are special, boxers somehow just a little more so than the rest.

Im so sorry for ur loss. He must've been like ur son. It happens alot. Mine died on January 1, 2011 from being hit by a car. She esaped from my garage while I was washing my car. She was tied up but broke the leash by pulling too hard. Unfortunately the impact was to hard and killed her within 20 mins. or so. :'( But luckily both our babies are now in a better place eating all the dog treeats they can have and chasing butterflies!!! :D
@ MacDaddy365 I agree with you completely, we had our boxers tail docked.. It symbolyzes the breed. Boxers are not pure and true boxers if there tails are not docked in my opinion.
i prefer boxers with the docked tail, in my opinion its like a distinguishing feature of the breed. I know this comment will get a lot of haters from all these animal lovers, but I am an animal lover myself and that is my opinion.

Your dog still has those puppy dog eyes. I have a beagle/king charles cavilier and when you tell him to get off the couch he puts on a really sad face, his ears fold back and his eyes become really big.

i had a white boxer that past away a couple years ago from lung cancer (older owner smoked) but i wish i recorded his playing time cause he loved to play till his last couple days which he couldn't :(....but the day he died my 2 boxador puppies were born so its a good/bad day every april 21st
@timetoparty11 It had it cropped. My boxer, Arnold, had his cropped way too close to his booty, it was just a nub. He was a little self conscious about it..... it probably didn't help that we always laughed at how un-tail like it was XD
i look at this video every once in a while because it reminds me so much of my own boxer, she past away last year and now i wish i had taken more pictures and made more videos. but my memories of her are still enough to put a smile on my face.

We just lost our sweet boxer Toby to cancer also. We rescued him from the pound and only had him for a year and a half, but you know what? We wouldn't trade the time we had with him for anything. @husky14bear I suggest you and chezmania1 look into the barf diet, look into over vaccinations, watch the free documentary titled "run from the cure" and one on netflix (and probably online also) called "the beautiful truth". I think watching both of those documentaries may help you out a lot. I have two boxers as well, and while I don't have enough time most days to feed them raw food, i make sure their kibble is mostly composed of meat. Check the ingredients.

@Isaacgurl26 I've heard it called "the Boxer C" when the Boxers get so excited, their whole butts wag, and they walk sideways, in a C shape, like a crab. =)

I LOVE that boxer excited movement that they do! (I don't know what else to call it lol!) when they are just so excited and they want to play! My boxer, Kelso, does it all the time! They are just such a great breed of dog! I will ALWAYS have a boxer in my house!

Boxer are the best...mine died August 2010 from a heart stroke, I miss him so much...Have a good life with him !!!

i had a white boxer that past away a couple years ago from lung cancer (older owner smoked) but i wish i recorded his playing time cause he loved to play till his last couple days which he couldn't :(....but the day he died my 2 boxador puppies were born so its a good/bad day every april 21st

@timetoparty11 It had it cropped. My boxer, Arnold, had his cropped way too close to his booty, it was just a nub. He was a little self conscious about it..... it probably didn't help that we always laughed at how un-tail like it was XD

i look at this video every once in a while because it reminds me so much of my own boxer, she past away last year and now i wish i had taken more pictures and made more videos. but my memories of her are still enough to put a smile on my face.

We just lost our sweet boxer Toby to cancer also. We rescued him from the pound and only had him for a year and a half, but you know what? We wouldn't trade the time we had with him for anything. I'm so glad you got to enjoy the experience of having your Tony in your life. Thanks for sharing the video with us. :)

mine passed away 18months ago from metastatic tumours...(all over body )and our family still havent recovered from the loss of him...they are such amazing dogs to have, their breed is the most querky and fun loving loyal breed in the world...once you've had a boxer you dont want any others!.....i love my boxer hendrix and this vid just reminded me of him thank you for posting!! x

@husky14bear I suggest you and chezmania1 look into the barf diet, look into over vaccinations, watch the free documentary titled "run from the cure" and one on netflix (and probably online also) called "the beautiful truth". I think watching both of those documentaries may help you out a lot. I have two boxers as well, and while I don't have enough time most days to feed them raw food, i make sure their kibble is mostly composed of meat. Check the ingredients.
