Freebords are more for thrill seekers. I don't see anyone on a longboard going at mid to fast speeds on a 45+ degree angle around a turn. Nor do I see them doing anything a skateboarder can't do. All people do on long boards is either A) Skate around doing nothing; B) Skate around doing nothing; or C) Skate around and think they're doing something cool.
