@Andy00011 At its peak there is about 40 gallons of water, however when the water pumps up to the dump tank and is about to siphon to the plant bed, it loses about 25 gallons for a total of 15 gallons in the fish bed whenever the water fills the plant beds.
I've made a few more with different designs that I'll post videos for in the near future.
@ask4id awesome. i was just going to put in gold fish. this system is on the smaller side, but in the future, i'll probably make the drive over there.
here in Dallas-Fort Worth, there are also marbled crayfish for $10-20.
Well, I like the way you make your system. Please, if you get to know how to build a solar system by yourself (DIY) share it here with us, that will be much appreciate it as I failed to find a proper resources for this. Thanks a lot, it was a joy watching this video.
@garbctor sure thing. Did it make sense to you how it works? I'm not sure if I got that point across clearly enough.
if you're interested in solar power, the street lights that they have that are connected to solar panels sometimes get mauled by drunk drivers. usually those signs will have a phone number or something on them. You could try giving them a call to see if they have any broken panels. Even if they're broken, the solar cells might put out energy.
how many gallons of water does fit in this fish tank? It would help me a lot to know. thanks! nice video!
