  • How does it work with Factory Five? You buy the body and then you have to build the rest? What kind of engine does it use? Thanks in advance

  • The factoryfive website has all the answers. In short they build a tube frame, fiberglass body, aluminum panels, and every nut bolt and screw. You supply the labor to build the car from the frame up, engine, transmission, and paint. You can also build a donor car which use the running gear from a Fox body mustang to cut your costs somewhat. The is the type I build. Good luck

  • @Bobasaurusinsc thanks you very much.. I dream about building a cobra... Hope someday I'll be able to get one :)

  • Your car is awesome, I hope someday build one... by the way, nice family too

  • looks great! can't wait to have one someday!

  • Awesome! I want to build one of these someday. Did you have to weld everything or does a lot of it rivet and bolt together?

  • What kind of engine? 5.0?

  • How many hours did it take you, I'm going to build the type 65 i think and I'm going to do it solo. I wont be doing the painting though. I also don't have a lot of experience on kit cars. I might get a bit of outside help. How log do you think it will take me 10 months?

  • This isn't my video, but I built one. You could build one in 10 months if you dedicate yourself to it. I had about 12 months of build time in mine, now I'm shaking out the bugs. You can't get discourgaged - it will frustate you. In the end, you'll love it. I was going to sell mine, but now I can't bring myself to do it. WAY too much fun to drive. Good luck if you go for it!

  • Also, my time doesn't include the paint work because I didn't do that part.

  • Great car man. Forget the worry warts. Not like you was drag racin. Can't wait till i can do the same.
