EML Polybox & Korg MS-10 : Mono Synth --- Poly Synth

Amazing, Just by watching this video, that already tells me the difference between Monophony and Polyphony

Mono= Only 1

Poly= more than 1, yet alone to say "4 or more". That'll be saying at least 4 or more to be polyphony, if 3 or less, it's Monophonic, which is not true (hence the video).

Well, since the Polybox is an old piece of gear, it's most likely analog.

hm, is the polybox digital or analog? I can see no point in using it if it's going to act like a bottle neck and kill all the harmonics of a nice monosynth like the ms10. You might as well use a damn vst plug in! And what's the price tag? If it's pricy you might as well go for a polyphonic synthesizer straight away. Then again, the thought of hooking up that mother into a minimoog is quite tempting.

the polybox its an ancient instrument and this is a very bad example of its use..(off course its a analog , its too old.)

Oh, right. Thanks for clearing that up. It thought it looked like it was in too good condition to be vintage and I haven't heard much about i previously so I assumed it was some modern contraption. I guess it's a combination of the video format and the demo that makes it sound so much like fresh cheese, then.
