Personally I think the war with Iran has to do with fulfilling a prophecy in The Book of Revalation. Israel wants a war so they can stage a fake attack on the Al Aqsa Mosque and blame it on the attackers. This will enable them to rebuild the Temple of Solomon which is located beneath the mosque. That's what I think is the primary reason. Israel can't very well destroy it without a reason since the country will be obliteraded by the neighbouring islamic countries.
