First of all thats not a quadracer thats a blaster (good for a 12 yr old) second of all blasters are 200cc not 250 and third I can get about 72 mph out of my qr 250 w a 12t front sprocket and can go up to 14t

blasters , when they were new they were about 6 grand mark and you have 55mph top speed go buy a 240 kit slap on some pipes filter kein carb gear it to 14/44 with rental sprockets , get it professionally ported and mill the head a bit , you have 3 or 4 grand gone , go buy a banshee for that price with pipes and reeds and filter and woop 250rs and blaster with minimal effort , save your cash buy a yfz 450 or a dirt bike

the drag blaster was just an example, when you really get deep into the hobby/sport, you realize just how little you know. the blaster can be tuned to compete with 250rs on a track too, sure it takes some money.

theres a guy down the street from me that had a blaster, he wouldn't let anybody touch it because it had a motor that was too powerful to keep the front down even with a +2 swinger

i hate to break ur nuts but atvsport magazine tested the 250 and quadzilla 500. the 500's stock top speed is 76 mph. the 250 maxed in the low 60's. and we all know it was done professionaly considering its atvsport. and stock is spelled stock...

exactly i have an 86 and with 20x10-9 razr's (stock are 22x11-10)it does 74 mph at about 90% throttle.

hey you really want some power and speed out of that thing go and shave the head... i am running 215psi and she is beating the 450's on the 1/4 mile ice track... BUT with that much compression i also would recommend race fuel... yeha!!

That LT should run 80mph easy.  Get that compression fixed and run it again.

i wouldnt worry about top speed 60 is all you need but if your not happy i would just change the sprokects. For motocross acceleration is more important that top speed on most tracks.
