Idk if anyone knows this but, if you stand right on the edge of the platform and shoot a egg at the pirhana plant BEFORE hitting the cutscene, you can skip the boss and not have to face him! Thumbs up so people can see!

Funny thing about my first time fighting her (yes, its a her, research it), I knew I had to hit her in belly, but I didn't know how, so I waited, and much later in the battle, she'll raise up and you can throw the eggs directly at it. I guess they did that if it took to long to kill her.

Dude, you're pretty skilled at these games, and I understand what you said about why you didn't use the secret right off the bat, because otherwise the video title would say "secret" somewhere in it.

Just ignore all these guys. And try to rearrange the buttons you have to push to turn the hypercam on and off to make things a bit easier.

You know, there's actually a way to beat this guy without having to fight him.

Before the Piranha is in sight (because the walls behind you will close and the normal fight will start instead), aim right for where it should be. If you're lucky, the egg will hit and kill the Piranha Plant. Kamek will appear and shout "WHAT THE HECK!? NO!!!" before the plant explodes.

Keep in mind that I'm saying this by memory, but it is possible. Do this and you should get the key. :p

@VizardJeffhog You're mostly right, but what you have to do is make sure that it doesn't scroll all the way so that you can kill her (yes Naval Piranha is female) before a boss battle. What Kamek actually says is "OH MY!!!!!!!!!!!!".

MAN! I know what you mean, when I was 6, this game just came out. I played it fairly well until i got to this bastard and I could not for the life of me beat the sunavabitch. I knew where to hit him, but i didn't realize you could skim eggs off the water. I actually tried going right up to him, waiting until he moved back slightly and timing it perfectly to hit him directly.

I found hima hard boss to beat (I just kept spitting Nippers out hoping they would fall on his weak point... they did, and it worked. Making him a hard boss... Now That I know how to beat him, and the Instant kill... He is far too easy to beat.

@Rockwarrior2004 I believe I did the exact same thing, using the Nippers, and I ended up being pretty good at doing that in the end. And honestly, I prefer fighting this boss that way instead of using eggs. It is so much more awesome to beat it that way. :)

Not to mention that it is possibly the coolest boss intro in the game. Although the Final boss has a rather dramatic entry as well. :)
