Texas isn't as country people may assume. In Dallas this is probably the least country place in Tx. Dallas is not as country as some may think. A lot of hard rock bands get started here such as Toadies. A lot of people prefer hip hop or speed metal and being alternative in your look is very popular and seems to be the majority here in popular culture either punk or hip hop. I love all music.
