  • does the nikon d40 or d60 take videos?

  • @deumic141 nope d5000, d90, d3s and d300s do.

  • i bought a D80 with an 18-135mm lens for this price. its ridiculous

  • @puneetbapna give it to me! for christmas! lol

  • Comment removed

  • care to sell it?

  • Get The D60 Defo!!

Just Got Mine And I Am Addicted To The Stop Motion Lol!

  • d3000 or d60???? wat u think?

  • uhh it depends on what you want out of it.....

d60 if you want to get into photography,

d3000 if you want photo and vids and have a bit more cash but try before you buy!

  • I bought the D3000. It's like the upgraded version of the D60 because it has improved specs, and it's replacing the D60 as the new entry level DSLR for Nikon. :)

  • @iAteUrCookies i just bought the d3000...do u like urs??

  • @babyberr1

    I fucking love it. <3

  • i just got this off of ebay barely used, WITH the lens and a 2 gig card for 400.00 LOL!! GO ME!

    It works and looks GREAT!

  • so whats the different between the d40 and the d60..im trying to get one soon and i was thinking about a d60 instead but the d40 look the same like the d60 too. cant really make up my mind.

  • d40 = 6 MP

    d60=10 MP

    large difference in quality...

  • i can tell there is a large difference between a normal person brain and yours given that you posted an absurd statement

  • Try it out at best buy. Thats how i decided d60. It is a great camera

  • what is the difference with vr lens and just the normal ones?

    18-55 lens

    18-55 vr lens

    does anyone know?

  • Vibration reduction,

  • Hi, a little question...can i take a picture just looking in the lcd monitor or i have to wath trough the sight?

  • The D60 doesn't have liveview so you have to use the viwefinder (the sight like you call it) when you take photos, but as far is i'm concerned that's a good thing.

  • there is no live veiw so u have to look trought the veiw finder

  • i know this is like the stupidest question but can you record video with a DSLR? i am a begging in photography and i am thinking about buying this camera kit. Please Reply! Thanks!!!

  • heyy, you mean you're a beginner? or beginning? lol- well the answer to your question is YES! on some higher end cameras (around the 1ooo dollar mark) DSLR's such as the d90, canon 5d (not sure which model though), the d500 and a couple others feature video capturing abilities (i think all are capable of high def 720p i think). but they're still working out the flaws. since its new tech. i'd say- stick with a camcorder for now until they make it standard with all dslr's and when its cheap :)

  • canon d450 is so mutch better

  • ur so stupid..

This camera has high performance. it doesnt have to be a FULL body lol the camera is nice and has a high performance for that camera and level DUMASS

  • you're stupid. that's not an high performance, dumbass. and by the way it's not even nice. d50 was a NICE and high performance entry level you noob.

  • you no nothing. you just said the d60 aint even a nice camera? Lmao. im done.

  • Do your homework kid, many advertising companies admit to buy stock photography which were produced by entry level cameras.

DX? FX? who cares! its the skill level from the photographer that matters

  • @cooljamesbeans true to a sense but remember the output quality of the camera matters when you are at the professional level. do not EVER reffer to stock photography as professional as it is a degrading medium to working photographers who struggle to put food on their tables.. thank you children for bring your DSLR's to highschool and thank you uncle bob photographer

  • Have you got one yet?

    And is it good?

    (Aiden)

    xXx

  • d60 is like a d40 but lighter and has a light enhancing and steady lens feature

  • take nikon i rather d60

  • Should my Nikon D60 make any sounds when the sensor cleaning is taking place? My Canon XTi did, but my D60 doesn't...

  • It's normal, the cleaning process is very quiet.

  • you're a retard man... sorry but this is the truth. Not the camera makes the photos, but the photographer... and if the photographer is a techno-boy or a measurebator (note: ken rockwell) the pictures will suck!!! The only thing that still matters to say... is a better lens eventually but all other things are technical gimmnicks from the marketing guys trying to sell more and more cameras. Do you think Ansel Adams had dust-reduction? Or stop-motion? :)

  • This is very true. But it's also true that you cannot do the same kind of pictures with an 8Mp lumix PAS that you can with a DSLR.

  • "I BUY HIGHER END MODELS, THESE MUST SUCK"

But anyway, the D60 is better than the D40/X because of:

    1. Usually available with a 18-55mm VR lens

    2. A dust reduction system

    3. A better processor with Active D-Lighting

  • duh

  • Shut up!
