  • what is the cost of that tower and where can i get one thanks

  • video 1 was the funny way!

  • Nice.

  • I see that now...LOL

  • nice

  • It's a whole lot easer to swing the tower up to vertical if you don't have all that weight of antenna, mast and rotator at the end - remember your Physics class about levers? Tip up the tower, secure it, then climb it and mount the antennas. :-)

  • And a plan comes together.

You guys have defeated that little weight VS gravity thing.....

Well, at least ya got er up without slamming it against the fence anyway..

Time for a beer and a little DX Ing ...Eh guys?

    :)

    :)

  • YAAAAAAEEEEEEEEEEEEE U GOT IT

  • Bravo. You are the king of the world. lol

    Take care,

  • Supie..... ;-)))!

  • NO!!! thats still the wrong way, Far to few people. The correct way is to mount the base and built up from the ground.

  • @ohgary1 -> I agree, it would have been nice if you were going to raise it this way anyway (not section by section) that you had more fellow hams/friends/whomever present... But at least it's up and no one got hurt. Glad to see the guys on the roof didnt get thrown...

  • WOW!!! This calls for another beer! Maybe two. LOL

  • Yea !

  • Hmm I am going to say the hard way. That is the hard way to put a tower up. ( i know this because I have done many)

  • There ya go! Nice one!

  • That right

  • As a person that is trained in high angle rescue, occupational health and safety as well as I have serviced towers up to 300 feet I can tell you that is not the right way. First off the guy on the roof has no fall arrest. Second the 3 of them are not wearing hard hats. If the tower slipped it would pull the guy off the roof and split the guys heads open on the ground.

  • Thanks for the video!

Now i know how to raise mine in the spring.

  • Does that attract lighting?

  • You Little ripper its up QSL

  • At least the guy has help. After several attempts at trying to get mine up by myself.

It looks a bit rough, kind of bent , broken in a few spots, but it works. Funny how friends disappear when you need them.

  • lol no your using your heads lmao

  • Well done! This is exactly how I thought you should put the tower up in the first place!
