I got to visit the lighthouse back when I lived in Pensacola, and I think that was even before TAPS investigated it. I can't believe I was in that place. After seeing the shadow peak over the side of the railing, that place has been legendary to me.
i love St. Augustine. I have a few really odd pics from the town and had a rather creepy experience in the Light House. Thanks for uploading your pics.
Yes I remember this Lighthouse. I was eight years old and i was looking top of lighthouse. I saw a girl looking at me it freaked me out but I didn't believe in ghosts. I will never forget her eyes.
@xXLovelyWolf545Xx actually at the bottom of the lighthouse in the center is a ring (the thing she is holding) and in the middle it goes down a few feet. But when you look up you are looking straight up the lighthouse. I don't know why, it could be decorative. So she is actually at the bottom of the lighthouse.
I was at this lighthouse with my now husband a few years before Ghost Hunters went there and we encounterd a lot of paranormal activity. From voices to smoke, to cold spots and even shadows. And this was in the afternoon in broad daylight back in 1999. No one else was there with us, so I thought. If you want to experience the ghosts that haunt that lighthouse, go alone or with one other person and with an open mind. Just saying! It's pretty cool.
Have you heard that they now do a slightly more expensive tour at midnight on the full moon? A friend just told me about it, that they do it mainly as a romantic thing, and serve a glass of champagne at the top, (you have to be 21, the legal drinking age in Florida). So cool! I can't wait to go, this next full moon. He, (my friend) said that there are also alot less people then.
@KettKatKitty You can find this lighthouse in St. Augustine, FL (U.S.) There are also episodes of the Ghost Hunters t.v. show which feature it, (an american t.v. show)
Thanks for clearing up the tour schedule but getting in the tower alone was what I was referring to. You can pay $25 Thursday through Sunday and get access to the entire grounds - you are correct - along with 20 to 40 other people talking and stomping on the stairs creating a cacophony of metalic background noise. No harm no foul, just clearing up the apparent misunderstanding.
There is a nighttime paranormal tour of the lighthouse every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. Also Thursday nights depending on the season. It gives you near full access to the grounds and the tower in complete darkness. So to get in at night it really isn't so much who you know, as much as when you go.
My chorus teacher went there about 10 years ago. And their were in the parking lot in a big van. Well their was no houses just the lighthouse, and the woods. And you know that 3 girls died their. so they were trying to turn around, and all of a sudden a young teenager was walking toward them. And they didnt know the light house was haunted so my teacher was watching most haunted light houses... and the #1 most haunted light house was st augustine and their had been 3 girls that had died their.
The photo of what looked like a head peering over the top railing, was this a still shot or in a video? I too have been there and I didn't expierence any PN activity.
That's a digital shot - we were shooting up for about 15 minutes - in the dark - alone in the tower - our team was standing on the bottom - there is a video on here during that time period

The few apparitions our team (not just St Augustine, but everywhere we've been) have seen have NO EYES - just black sockets - what did you see?

I don't live in a English speaker land, but I guess this Lighthouse is in England. Or USA? Where can I find it? It should be fun to visit it. :)
