It depends on how you are trying to play back your animation, the tutorial says the playback feature in Blender 2.5 does not work in 2.5apha... and it still won't work in the most up to date version (2.57). There are ways to fix this but if you have saved rendered frames to a folder you should be able to play them, but not from within blender yet. Are you trying the "playback animation" from within blender or playing them from the folder you have saved the renders to?
If you just want to to undo moves like rotation or moving an object then Ctrl +Z-Key will progressively undo any changes you have made. Similarly in edit mode you can step back through the changes you have made.

Great tutorial, but I need help. I did all that, but when I render it and after it's done rendering each frame, it won't play.
Do you know what I did wrong? Did I forget something?

You can also remove key-frames! Click on the frame you wish to remove and press alt + I.
